19th Annual Reverse Raffle
SNAP's 19th annual Reverse Raffle fundraiser held May 9th at
Skyland Pines was a great success! Thanks to all who
attended, donated auction items, sold and/or purchased
tickets, as well as the volunteers who once again orchestrated
a fabulous event for our cause! Special thanks to our Master
of Ceremonies The Honorable Frank Forchione, Judge for the
Stark County Common Pleas Court. He did a great job of
keeping the evening moving with lots of laughs for all. Thanks
also to AJ Whittier and her husband Dr. Fred Whittier who,
along with Diane Neal and her husband Don Deitemyer,
handled the truly overwhelming task of chairing the Silent
Auction with more beautiful and unique items than ever
before! Thanks to these volunteers and everyone who pitched
in we surpassed last year's total and our profit for this year
was $7600 for our spay neuter program! We can't forget
Rice's Nursery who donated a cement birdbath that was the hit
of the evening- animal themed of course! Good job everyone!!
584 cat and 61 dog surgeries to date in 2014.

"Gracie" Sampsel, a special needs dog, is owned by Terry &
Rick Sampsel. She was adopted from a rescue organization
for senior dogs in Cleveland. Gracie was 13 years old when
Terry and Rick adopted her 2 years ago.!

Soehnlen in Navarre as the participating veterinarian.
(Proof of Eligibility Required) $8 Rabies Vaccine is the responsibility of the client.

need of “FOREVER” postage stamps for
the hundreds of spay/neuter forms and thank you
notes we send out each year. The donation of
stamps is a huge financial help. Thank you for your
help in the past.
!SNAP is in need of small white envelopes,
3 5/8" x 6 1/2" for future mailings. They
need not be security or self seal, just plain
white envelopes.
!The stamps and/or envelopes can be mailed or
dropped off at the Animal Attic, 3124 9th SW Canton

Spay Neuter Assistance Program of NE Ohio is an all
volunteer, non-profit organization under section 501©
(3), offering a low-cost spay/neuter program for
male and female cats only to the community to help
alleviate the problem of pet overpopulation. SNAP also
promotes and educates the public about the
importance of spaying and neutering all companion
animals.
