Why Laser‐Cut Appliqué Kits?
If you like doing appliqué or have wanted to try appliqué but don’t feel like spending the time cutting lots of pieces, then laser‐cut kits are the solution for you! It’s as simple as “Peel, Place, Press”: 1. Peel – since the appliqué pieces already have the fusible adhesive on them, just peel the paper backing of the adhesive off the piece/shape. 2. Cutting kits and shapes with a laser and Gerber Cutter
is the way of the future!
Some of our customers have said: “Your lasers and Gerber Cutter are like a die cut machine on
steroids!” While these computer controlled machines have plenty of “muscle”, we prefer to liken them to
yoga because they’re so flexible – virtually anything you can draw, you can cut with them! Unlike a die
which is fixed in size and shape, it’s easy to make adjustments with a laser and Gerber Cutter because
they’re driven by computer-generated graphics.
People who use kits or shapes cut by laser or Gerber Cutter are relieved of the very time-consuming and
tedious chore of cutting. And, they have peace of mind knowing that each piece is cut perfectly. An
added bonus of laser cutting is that the edges of the laser-cut pieces are seared making them easier to
handle and less susceptible to fraying.
