mountainous areas or on water. Check this story
out for a truly scary school run in China. Our
students blogged, eBook-ed, Lego’d, filmed and
coded all week long. Bryn from Tagtiv8 came and
taught us some brilliant active games. We are
immensely grateful to the NightZooKeeper, who
set the Year 2-6 students up with their own
blogging accounts – you can see your child’s class
blog by clicking on the crescent moon icon in their
account. The NightZooKeeper also helped us make
a film about the whole project. Look out for the
film on the school’s YouTube account. A big big
thank you to Ms Sams, Mr Braune, Paul
(NightZooKeeper), Bryn (TagTiv8), Google
Expeditions and Teri (Dance) for creating such a
memorable and exciting week of learning. We took
a risk and a real step-up in what we can do through
IT.
Global IT project
We love to use IT in our learning. Last week we
spent the whole week thinking about different
places on the planet and what it is like to live on
them - for example in the rainforest, in

Wear it Wild
On Friday 27th May, The World Wildlife Fund held
their annual day of awareness of the plight of
endangered animals. The day fitted really well with
our Global IT project. Children and staff came to
school dressed as endangered animals. Just under
£386.00 was raised towards this very important
cause. We’ll be sending a cheque to the World
Wildlife Fund. Thank you for your generous
donations to this cause.
