Detailed below is the package itinerary and pricing options for travel from Auckland to Fiji in
conjunction with the inaugural Gallagher Chiefs vs BNZ Crusaders Investec Super Rugby match
being played at the National Sports Stadium in Suva on Friday 1st July.
+ Experience Group has been appointed as the official travel company for the Gallagher
Chiefs vs. BNZ Crusaders Super Rugby match in Suva
+ As this match is sanctioned and supported by the Fiji Government, we are working through
the official Fiji carrier, Fiji Airways, to get as many supporters to Fiji. Fiji Airways have
rescheduled flights from Auckland to Nadi to fly directly Auckland to Suva on the Wednesday
and Thursday prior to this match. Flights in the attached proposal on the direct flight into Suva.
+ There are no direct flights ex Suva to New Zealand on Saturday 2nd July – the day after the
match. The itinerary is based on staying 2-nights in Suva, and then travelling to Nadi on the
morning of 2nd July, and staying for 1-night in Denarau, before returning to New Zealand on
Sunday 3rd July on a direct Nadi to Auckland flight using Air New Zealand, which offers an
afternoon departure.
+ Extensions to arrangements are available should you like to extend and stay in Fiji longer.
+ Hotel availability in Suva is very limited over the match, mainly lack to the lack of
accommodation options. We are holding rooms at the following three properties:
Novotel Suva Lami Bay Hotel – 30-rooms
The Gallagher Chiefs team hotel. A 4-star waterfront hotel located a 15-minute drive from the
capital.
Holiday Inn Suva – 30-rooms
The BNZ Crusaders team hotel. A 4-star hotel located on the Suva harbour front and a 5-minute
walk into town.
Grand Pacific Hotel – 25-rooms
The top rated hotel in Suva and located next door to the Holiday Inn.
+ Platinum Grandstand covered match tickets are included in the package.
