Tailoring is generating a lot of excitement and our customers appreciate interesting details and mixed media. And we are always looking for that next ‘it’ bag and the perfect slouchy jean. Key trends and items include the tomboy trend, bombers, long line blazers, denim and oversized lightweight knits. We’re looking at New Digital, bold colors, neon, sheer materials that are layered, strong graphics, translucent and mirrored effects. Game changing prints are here to stay.” “In general easy, simple shapes. We’ve been really inspired and excited about Scandinavian design, dress, and overall aesthetic for a few seasons now and it seems that our customers like it too. Simple, pareddown, but generally oversized silhouettes. Really minimal. However, we do often go in the opposite direction with our Australian designers—and we love that stuff just as much. Print-heavy, bright, fun, and sexy. As for shoes, mainly boyish styles. White —I think it was important this year—but that was just the tip of the iceberg. I think it might be even more important next year along with nudes and naturals. —April Koza Cool sage and cactus greens and blue-ish/ pink-ish DMM Women’s, Forward by Elyse Walker 'water colors'would be awesome to find. The new Etsy Wholesale features the collections of close to 600 designers. Each designer manages their own showroom on the site, uploads their own imagery, information, product shots, pricing and billing terms, and shipping information. Additionally, the site provides an independent designer all the tools he or she needs to launch and manage an online wholesale business – with linesheet building tools, inventory management, sales tracking, order processing and payment processing, streamlining the business of selling. Etsy has already partnered with leading specialty stores West Elm and Nordstrom and will invite notable names in the design and fashion worlds to guest curate unique selections of products from the roster of Etsy Wholesale participants. Retailers who pass a screening panel and are given access to Etsy Wholesale are able to browse the site organically, or search for a specific merchandise category, brand name, item, or even location, if they’d like to meet some local makers, for example. Etsy plans to go way beyond just serving as an online B to B mall, however. Etsy is all about community building, and the new wholesale site provides educational materials and forums where designers and buyers can share information, ask questions or get business advice from other makers. Beautiful photography and content about select Etsy vendors round out the high end feel of the site. P Our Services Services 212 206 8310 Etsy's success came from building a community marketplace of independent creatives and since 2005, its design caché has grown. Retailers worldwide have been shopping Etsy in search of unique pieces that will set their shops apart from the competition and many of the designers who have built businesses on Etsy are looking to take their enterprises to a whole new level. With Etsy wholesale, the company has created a platform that enables the independent designers that are thriving on Etsy to launch wholesale businesses.
