The Ranger RX-98E and the RX-980A both feature the
latest design and technology advancements to provide
you with the best in-class value and performance. The
RX-98A is a fully pneumatic version of our RX-980E
and both are easy to operate and durable enough
to withstand the every day abuses of a busy shop
environment. Both models accommodate a wide variety
wheels, including virtually all OEM configurations, select
performance and alloy wheels. The motors and gear

Ergonomic controls are sensibly placed to
minimize excessive reaching, walking and bending,
resulting in more jobs per day and increased profits.
Large storage trays provide ample space for weights,
tools and accessories.
Each model provides an expanded wheel clamping range to give you the ability
to work efficiently on a variety of wheel styles and sizes. Our active multi-position
RimGuard clamping system means expensive wheels are handled with greater
care. The result is minimal to no damage and an incredible boost to efficiency.
Internal and external clamping devices also feature an increased range for greater
wheel handling capacity. The power-on-demand, geometric turntable provides
high and low torque output for exceptional control and precision during every step
of the mounting and dismounting process. Reversible direction gives the operator
the ability to back up in the event of turntable stalling, and the geometric turntable
provides for easier bead lubrication and visual inspection of the lower bead while
servicing performance wheels and tires.

loosens even the most stubborn and awkward tire.
The stainless steel cylinder bore maintains sealing
efficiency and longevity for improved performance
and constant power. The swing arm assembly
features a spring-assisted, easy-to-adjust horizontal
tool head with vertical height-adjustment locks.
Powerful Bead Breaker
Jet-blast bead seating nozzles provide a high-power
burst of air to help seal beads during the inflation
process. Integrated tire inflation system features
air-surge pulse inflation for faster inflation speeds and
improved bead seating. Comes equipped with a large,
easy-to-read psi gauge, built-in pressure limiter and

Balancer is the result of over a decade of balancer
technology experience and an unwavering
dedication to precision, reliability and repeatability.
This heavy-duty wheel balancer features a highly
accurate sensor system that increases productivity
and offers unprecedented speed and accuracy,
especially when using sophisticated balance and
weight placement techniques required for newer
high-tech OEM and aftermarket wheels.
The DST-1200 adopts the latest 16-digit digital
signal processor and single-chip technology. The
single-chip circuit board architecture provides an
inherent performance and reliability advantage
compared to multi-chip implementations of the
same functionality. In addition to overall latency
reductions, the single-chip architecture significantly
boosts device throughput. An extremely swift,
dedicated hyper-transport protocol allows data to
communicate with the micro-processor at much
faster speeds. This solution offers unmatched
integration of features and functionality, resulting
in lower power consumption and dissipated heat.

Wheel Clamp Kit
Universal Wheel Clamp Kit comes with a shaft
and adapters to accommodate Harley Davidson,
Japanese, and European Motorcycles with hub
assemblies up to 9-1/2” inches wide. It quickly
installs on all Ranger® computer wheel balancers
with a 36mm shaft. The adapter kit is designed to
balance wheels with a center hole diameter from
5/8” – 1-1/4”.

Brake Lathe Package
The ruggedly built RL-8500 is capable of faster, more accurate and easier
resurfacing than any other brake lathe in its class. Infinitely adjustable feed
rates allow you to easily modify cut speeds with the simple turn of a dial.
Now you can reduce or increase the cut-time for best finish results, whether
you’re speeding through an initial rough cut or a single-pass micro-finish.
This complete lathe package includes lathe, a sturdy bench and large tool
storage backboards, so you can hang all adapters within close reach.
The RL-8500 simply offers more—more features, more performance, more

cabinets and drawers. Welded continuous beam
construction and rolled edges provide better

Solid aluminum and plated steel hardware set
off the triple-baked powder coat paint finish that
resists scratches, oil, dirt and most solvents.
Finger-release drawer locks on the slides allow
drawer removal for cleaning.
HD-Chrome, Ball Bearing Slides
Rugged, full-extension, double-acting
HD-chrome ball bearing drawer slides permit
smooth, full-drawer extension. Slide limit
stops keep drawer from extending
beyond the chest frame.
Brushed Aluminum Handles
Each tool storage unit features full-length
brushed aluminum drawer handles that
incorporate replaceable drawer identification
labels with see-through plastic covers. Padded
rubber drawer liners come standard.
Tubular Steel Handles
We build our cabinets with large, tubular steel
push / pull handles for easy handling. Heavygauge steel top, bottom and back panels are
securely welded to the internal cage constructed
sidewalls for maximum strength.
Non-Slip Rubber or Wood Tops
Protective, non-slip rubber top mats come
standard on models RTB-2D, RTB-8D and
RTB-7DC. A wood top is featured on the
monstrous RTB-13DC. These tops turn your
toolbox or cabinet into a mobile workstation.
Exclusive Lok-Latch™ System
The Lok-Latch™ drawer latching system keeps
drawers secure when closed. Multiple drawer
selection offers convenient sizes for storing tools
of all sizes and shapes in addition to bulk-storage
of large tools and miscellaneous repair items.
Internal Cage & Reinforced Sidewalls
Each Ranger® toolbox and cabinet features
durable internal cage construction and reinforced
sidewalls for maximum strength. Tamper-proof,
tumbler key-lock rear pivot drawer locking
system cannot be reached by bolt cutters or
hacksaw. Includes heavy-duty chrome
side-handles for easy handling.
Heavy-Duty Urethane Casters
1-piece bottom panels are welded outside the
cabinet, providing for a solid foundation to help
absorb bumps and eliminate stress on the
cabinet spot welds. Easy-to-roll, low-drag,
heavy-duty fixed swivel urethane casters with
toe brake can be used in most wet or
corrosive environments.

BendPak Inc. / Ranger Products® be liable for special, consequential or incidental damages for the breach or delay
in performance of the warranty. BendPak Inc. / Ranger Products® reserves the right to make design changes or add
improvements to its product line without incurring any obligation to make such changes on product sold previously.
Warranty adjustments within the above stated policies are based on the model and serial number
of the equipment. This data must be furnished with all warranty claims.
