Thirty years later we continue to stay true to our initial goals by offering a broad range of unique and high-quality products that feature Native art. We continue to operate as Garfinkel Publications, but we now package our products with the label “Native Northwest”. We only work with Native artists and acknowledge the artist and culture group on our products. Whenever possible we provide a quotation by the artist which provides insight into the cultural meaning of the design. We remain committed to the integrity of the artists, their art, their community, and their culture. Last year we introduced a new product line, “Native Explore” to our already extensive collection. “Native Explore” focuses on children’s products and educational resources. We are proud that these products encourage learning and literacy amongst Native and non-Native children. Our new books, games, puppets, plush and puzzles are great for learning and for fun, making them ideal gifts as well as useful resources for the classroom.
