We are inviting Muslim youth aged 23-38 to register for our Matrimonial Mixer event
which is scheduled for Sunday May 18th at 2:00 p.m. Participants can expect a
combination of highly interactive group activities, one-on-one sessions and
appetizing refreshments in a personal and friendly setting!

FAQs
How does this program work?
We believe that the best way to get to know someone meaningfully is to engage them in
dialogue and play. We aim to slowly ease participants into interactive activities that we believe
offer significant opportunities to gain valuable insight into
personalities, values and dispositions. Accordingly, we use game and question-based activities as
the principle method of interaction. We also have a one-on-one
component to our program, which allows each female participant to speak privately with every
male participant.....all in a permissible and respectful way.
How many women/men attend the event?
Our event is best described as a small gathering. Our group size is limited so our participants can
have a meaningful opportunity to get to learn about others. Our experience has proven that a
smaller group size is the best way to maximize your chance of finding information of interest to
yourself. We plan to host more large-scale events. Stay tuned for future programs!
How long is the actual event?
Our event typically lasts about three and a half hours. Please
arrive at least 10-15 minutes before the scheduled event to
fully complete your registration, sign – in and enjoy some
refreshments!
I’m a bit shy, will I be comfortable attending?
We understand that participating in a matrimonial event can be daunting; some of us have done
it ourselves! However if you really wish to meet someone this is a great way to do so….so we
pray that Allah SWT gives you the best guidance along this path. Our facilitators try to help make
participants as comfortable as possible. We don’t wish to push anyone beyond their level of
comfort, so if you have any issue while attending the event, please do not hesitate to speak to
one of us!
I'm going! What do I wear? Is there recommended attire? There is no specific dress-code,
however, business casual is the preferred attire of our attendees. Remember it is a Muslim event!
What if I wish to attend with a family member accompanying me?
Our goal is to enhance the comfort and ensure the privacy of our participants; therefore, only
participants shall be permitted into the event room itself. However, parents or accompanying
friends may wait in our prayer space for the duration of the program, if they wish.
Is there an age limit to enter the event?
Our program is designed for Muslim youth, specifically ages 23-38.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, this is not required. Once your payment is processed, you will be registered for the event.
On the day of the Mixer, we will be able to confirm registration without a printed ticket. Please
bring a valid ID to validate the registration.
What is the refund policy?
Refunds are not provided. Sorry!
Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
Tickets are not transferable and individuals must personally register.
What's next?
Once your registration and payment is processed, you can expect to hear from us a few days
before the event with additional event details!
