SEE THE NAMES, HEAR THE MUSIC
Philadelphia’s current music scene is more vibrant
then ever, and the Walk of Fame is the perfect
gateway to the unique Philadelphia sound.
Take your picture next to a plaque immortalizing
one of Philly’s music greats, then hear the real
thing at one of our renowned nightclubs, where
Philadelphia’s soundtrack plays every night of
the week. Or, for a musical experience on a
grander scale, visit the magnificent Kimmel
Center, home to the Philadelphia Orchestra
and an eclectic array of performers.
Experience the Walk of Fame on Broad Street,
between Walnut and Spruce Streets, in the
heart of the city's world-class cultural, entertainment and dining district, the Avenue of the
Arts. For more information about the Walk of
Fame or Philadelphia music, contact the

The Walk of Fame is the creation of the
Philadelphia Music Alliance, a communitybased, not-for-profit organization dedicated to
preserving and promoting Philadelphia’s rich
musical legacy by increasing awareness of the
city’s great musical tradition and supporting the
current music scene.
Established in 1986, the Alliance is Philadelphia’s
music authority. The Alliance promotes the vast
contributions of Philadelphians from all music genres, and encourages the creation, celebration
and historical preservation of Philadelphia music.
