RecOn: Provides resources for outdoor
centric, high adrenaline, post deployment
stress reduction, only available through FSS
Outdoor Recreation Centers.
Deployed Affected Programming: Provides
resources targeting deployed-affected and
dependent-restricted Air Force installation
assigned service members and their families
providing relief from the challenges of
deployment.

All Outdoor Adventure trips include round-trip
transportation to and from the ODR Dix office.
Payment is required at time of reservation.
Eligible guests for AD Military reduced pricing
must show valid ID at time of sign-up. A detailed
trip information sheet will be provided to guests.
In the event that a trip minimum is not met; a full
refund will be provided. Guest cancellations for
day trips must be made at least one week in
advance to receive a refund. Guest cancellations
for multi-day trips require manager approval on a
case-by case basis to receive a refund.

famous Long Beach
Island and its beautiful
beaches as you gently glide up to 500ft
above the coastline. Soak in the amazing
panoramic sights of the Atlantic Ocean
that can only be seen from the air. Trip for
ages 5 and up, maximum of 22 participants taken. *Single Service member cost

ADVENTURE

Go Ape! A zip line and
treetop adventure course set within beautiful
Lums Pond State Park in Bear, Delaware.
More than just a canopy tour, the course is
made up of numerous rope ladders, 42 exciting crossings to include the Double Stirrups,
Zigzag Trapeze, Flying Carpet and Canyon
Crossing, 2 Tarzan swings and 5 zip lines.
Overall, there are 5 individual sections within
the course, each section taking you higher
into the forest canopy and finishing with a zip
line longer and with more expansive views of
the pond than the previous one! *Cost: $30

SKYDIVE TANDEM JUMP TRIP

Always wanted to skydive but never had
the opportunity? Join us for an "Ultimate
Adventure" trip to Skydive Crosskeys. During a tandem skydive you are securely
fastened to your tandem instructor. After
a training session, we climb to 14,000 feet
(2.5 miles) above the ground and in full
view of both Philadelphia and Atlantic City
Skylines. Must be 18 years and older and
cannot exceed 220lb weight limit to participate. *Cost: $115 for Single Service
member eligible participants (all ranks/
all branches of service), $180 for all
other DOD ID holders and includes
round trip transportation. A photo and
video package is available on site for an
additional cost. Trip maximum is 13!

ROCK-CLIMBING
“THE GUNKS”

Depart Thurs 7am; Return Sun 8pm
Travelling, recreating, and
group camping on Saturday and departing Sunday
morning to the rock climbing area. Campground
dinner on Saturday night
and breakfast Sunday
morning included in cost.
We will have a full day of
rock climbing Sunday with
Alpine Endeavors (AMGA
accredited; ratio 4:1). Two pre-requisite
evening climbing sessions in an indoor
gym offered Aug 17th & 24th, attendance
at one minimum is mandatory for trip
participation. Menu, packing list, experience level, recreation possibilities and
further details will be discussed during the
pre-trip meeting August 31st at 5:15pm,
attendance mandatory. Trip limited to 13

all other DoD ID cardholders. Price includes campsite, all camping/recreation
equipment, technical climbing equipment,
full day outdoor top rope rock climbing
