General Information
CHILDCARE FOR EVENING SERVICES AND 10:30
CONFERENCES:
Childcare is provided for children birth to age 4. There will be NO
CHARGE for childcare. There will be a snack and crafts for the
children. There will be a sign-in and sign-out sheet to be filled out by
each person bringing a child to the childcare facility. ALL
CHILDREN IN THE NURSERY MUST BE PICKED UP
IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE END OF THE SERVICE
OR CONFERENCE.
We are happy to provide this ministry and appreciate all parents’
cooperation in making it a pleasant place for your children to be cared
for during these periods. We would also like to give a special thank
you to Christine Clark and her staff for their loving care of our
children. Their ministry is greatly appreciated.
CAMP NURSE:
The nurse may be reached at any hour by calling 814-229-0055. The
nursing station is located at the Whitehall Camp Office.
WHITEHALL SUMMER CAMP OFFICE:
The Whitehall Summer Office is located next to the camp store and
across from the dining hall. Please direct any questions concerning
grounds operations during Camp Meeting to personnel working in the
Summer Office, NOT THE ADMINISTRATION BUILDING. All
yearly fees and Camp Meeting charges are to be paid at the Summer
Office. The hours of operation will be posted.
CD AND SOUND MINISTRY:
We will be providing CD recordings of the evening services. These
CD recordings may be ordered and paid for at the back of the
tabernacle or summer camp office. The price per CD is $3.

RECYLING
A Single-Stream Recycling Program is in effect with Waste
Management. Recyclable materials listed below do not need to be
separated and can be placed in the recycle dumpster. Garbage cans
and dumpsters around campus will be marked accordingly. The
following items can be recycled: junk mail magazines, office paper,
brown paper bags, newspapers, paperboard, phone books, paper
cardboard, dairy and juice containers, aluminum cans, tin or steel
cans, glass bottles and jars, cardboard, and plastic bottles and
containers.
If you would be careful to sort your garbage and toss it in the
appropriate dumpsters it would be greatly appreciated.
AIR CONDITIONING:
We are blessed to have air conditioning in our tabernacle,
thanks to the many contributions that have come in from
various churches and individuals. You may still contribute to
the fund by writing “air conditioning fund” on your check.

DONATIONS:
All offerings will go to Western Pennsylvania Ministries of the
Church of God to defray costs of the Western PA Camp
Meeting. Please make checks payable to WPA Church of
God Ministries.

Guest Evangelist: Gerald Rudd
Pastor H. Gerald Rudd was born in Dayton, Ohio, and is married to the former Ruth J. McCorkle. They have three children, Robert, Debra, and James; five granddaughters, Bailey, Breann, Jordyn, Camryn, and Alexis, and a grandson, Landon. Pastor Rudd has served in the U.S. Army, serving one tour in Vietnam. He was saved at the age of 21 and at 23, God called him into ministry. He ministered as an associate pastor in Ohio before going to Pekin, Illinois in 1980 as senior pastor. He served for 21 years at the Pekin First Church of God. Rev. Rudd has a Bachelor of Science from Mid-­‐America Bible College and a master’s degree in Biblical Studies. In July of 2001, God called him to Greeneville, Tennessee to serve as the Senior Pastor. He and his wife Ruth moved to Greeneville, Tennessee on September 11, 2001 where they continue to pastor. 6
Guest Worship Leader: Rev. Todd Braschler
Raised in a minister’s home, Todd has served as an associate pastor in various ministry roles for over 20 years in Missouri, Florida, Kentucky, Wyoming. He currently serves in Kansas as the Executive Pastor at Central Community Church in Wichita. He received his college education at Anderson University, in Anderson, Indiana. Todd has led worship for numerous revivals and camp meetings. In 2001, Todd began a ministry as a Christian Recording Artist and retreat speaker where he travels frequently, leading retreats for men, couples, pastors and leaders, and worship ministries. Todd’s family owned and operated the Braschler Music Show in Branson, Missouri for 24 years where Todd performed with his family for two years. Todd is an avid outdoorsman and former co-­‐host of a national hunting and fishing show called Diamond Adventures. Todd and his wife Claudia have 3 sons; two of them are married and the third is in high school. Todd and Claudia are the proud grandparents of two grandsons and a new granddaughter. 7
Guest Youth Speaker: Jeremy Halstead
Pastor Jeremy Halstead is a native of Wichita, Kansas. In 1991, he married his high school sweetheart, Rhonda (Martin). They moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where he attended Mid-­‐America Bible College. In February of 1995, Jeremy and Rhonda were blessed with a son, Jordan. In May of that same year Jeremy graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Youth Ministries. They soon moved to Alliance, Ohio where he served as the Pastor of Student Ministries for the First Church of God for 8 years. In 1997, they were blessed with a second son, Justin. In 2003, the family moved to Eaton, Ohio, where Jeremy is currently serving as the Pastor of Student Ministries. In May of 2012, he graduated from Huntington University with a Master’s in Youth Ministries. During his time in Ohio, he has served on the Ohio State Youth Board of the Church of God for 18 years, and has volunteered at Camp Marengo (the Ohio state summer camp of the Church of God) for 18 years, serving as a cabin counselor, camp pastor, teacher, support staff and even dish washer. 8
Guest Youth Worship Leader: Caleb Dinger
Band
Originally from Brookville, Pennsylvania, 20 year old Nashville based singer/songwriter Caleb Dinger gives listeners fresh piano-­‐driven tunes, inspired by artists like Ben Rector, Gavin Degraw, Dave Barnes, and John Mayer. After releasing "Counting Stars" at the age of 16, and his full length "Live it Out" in 2013, Caleb continues to develop as an up-­‐
and-­‐ coming independent artist. Most recently Caleb released an EP entitled “When Sacred Meets the Surface" in June of 2014, including his new single, “Something Hard to Come By” that is now available on iTunes. Caleb is a sophomore at Trevecca Nazarene University and is on staff as a worship leader at Crievewood United Methodist Church in Nashville, Tennessee. Caleb and his band have played concerts and led worship all across Pennsylvania and surrounding states. Members of the Caleb Dinger Band, who all serve in their local churches and communities, include keyboardist/lead vocalist Caleb Dinger, drummer John Sproull, guitarist Kempton Beatty, bassist Kyle Beatty, and guest guitarist from Carrollton Georgia, Connor Barnes. Guest Young Adult Speaker: Jessica Wilson
Jessica Wilson has a rich Church of God heritage, but she has faced many trials in her young life. In her blog she writes, “Over the course of three years I faced sickness, loss of relationships with my family, brokenness of a marriage, loss of two babies, disappointment, and relationships with people who were very unfaithful. Because of all these trials, I felt like I was nothing; like I had nothing to offer God or another person. I thought that I didn’t deserve God.” But God never stopped pursuing Jessica, and after several years of God bringing her to a place of healing and restoration, He called her to use her nursing degree as a medical missionary to the Dominican Republic. Jessica has faithfully served at Hato Mayor, Dominican Republic for the past one and a half years. She knows that God has called her to minister to the least of these, and this is an arena in which she has been sent. She recognizes God’s call on her life to “work all things out for good” according to Romans 8:28, and she knows that He is using all of her life experiences to advance His Kingdom. This week she has a message to share with her peers. She is honest and compassionate when sharing God’s truth, and can relate with many of the issues facing her peers today. Camp Meeting Policies
During Camp Meeting, we ask that you help us by cooperating with
the following:
1) All campers expecting phone calls, outside contact, or
information forwarded, should register at the Whitehall Summer
Office. All fees should be paid there, including utilities and other
charges for cottage, mobile home, tent and recreational vehicle
owners.
2) This is a church camp and therefore modesty in dress and
consideration of conduct are expected. No smoking, drinking of
alcoholic beverages, ingesting or injecting of illegal substances,
profane language, or improper behavior will be permitted on the
grounds. Swimming attire is to be one-piece or covered by a tshirt. Anyone found to be a disturbance or anyone creating an
unsafe environment or having malicious intent toward the guests
during Camp Meeting will be asked to leave the premises with no
expectation of refund.
3) No mini-bikes, bicycles, tricycles, skateboards, in-line skates,
four-wheelers, or scooters are to be used on the grounds. The
speed limit is 10 mph for all other transportation. All motor
vehicles, including golf carts, must be driven by persons with a
current, valid driver’s license.
4) Mail may be received and deposited for mailing at the Summer
Whitehall Office.
5) If articles of value are lost or found, please report these to
the Summer Whitehall Office.
6) Because of the busy schedule of activities throughout the day,
please respect quiet time starting at 11:30 pm. All persons are
expected to comply with this out of consideration of others.
Individuals should be in their residences by mid-night. All nonresidents must leave the grounds by midnight.
7) Single persons under age 18 are not permitted to stay overnight
on the grounds without an adult in the same residence.

8) Persons damaging or destroying camp or personal property will
be held responsible for it.
9) All persons using the camp facilities during Camp Meeting are
encouraged to attend the services, conferences, and other
activities of the Camp Meeting.
10) No evening campfires are permitted until after the conclusion of
the evening service. Campfires are to be in fire rings. Whitehall
reserves the right to ban fires during dry periods.
11) By penalty of law, no firewood can be brought into Venango
County. Firewood is available for $5.00 per wheel barrow load
near the entrance to the maintenance building on Riggle Road.
Please pay for the wood at the summer office.
12) The lake may be used only during posted times and under the
supervision of the waterfront staff. A swimming test will be
given to those going into deep water. Life jackets are required by
people of all ages when using the canoes or water trampoline.
13) Fireworks of any kind are forbidden.
14) Garbage is to be placed inside the dumpster. This is for normal
household garbage only. No garbage is to be stacked in front of
the dumpsters. No metal, toilets, refrigerators, furniture or wood
is to be placed in the dumpsters. Their disposal is the
responsibility of the owner.
15) All media (TV’s, radios, CD, MP3 players, etc.) are not to be
played outside of dwellings or in cars in a loud and disruptive
manner.
16) Parents are responsible for the actions and behaviors of their
children, and of the children’s friends in their care. Please know
the whereabouts of your children and what they are doing.
17) The land surrounding Whitehall Camp does not belong to us. The
area behind the Hogans, below the lake, and along Panther Spring
is privately owned land. Please respect their property.

PET POLICIES
WHITEHALL CAMP AND CONFERENCE
CENTER
Whitehall Camp does not encourage pets; however, pets are
permitted if you abide by these guidelines:
1. Pets are to be leashed at all times when outside the
cabin or camper.
2. Pet owners are responsible for picking up deposited
residue at all times during the camping season and are to
be prepared with small plastic bags for such purpose.
This includes personal leased lots and pet areas.
3. Pets are to be confined to the leased lot of the owner.
4. Pets on a leash are to be taken only to the “Pet Walking
Areas” and must be “picked up” after. Areas are located
on the lower grounds in the field behind the RV section
and on the upper rounds in the field behind Faith Lodge.
5. Pets are to be restricted during Camp Meeting to only
the areas listed above; the walking area and the leased
lot of the owner.
6. Pet owners will be asked to remove the animal from the
grounds if they become a nuisance to those around them.
7. No pet, with the exception of service animals, is
permitted in any buildings owned by Whitehall Camp
and Conference Center.

EVENTS FOR ALL
Waterfront Activities
Waterfront Activities are available at Kerry Lake from 1:00
until 5:00 pm, Monday, August 4th, through Saturday, August
9th. A lifeguard will be on duty for your safety. It is required
that all preschoolers be accompanied by an adult. A swimming
test will be given to those going into deep water. Appropriate
swimwear is expected. See Camp Meeting Policies on pages
11-12 for more details.
Motorcycle Ride
This year’s motorcycle ride will be held on Friday, August 8th. Men
and women are invited to attend this ride. We will begin gathering at
the upper grounds basketball court at 8:00 am. We plan to leave from
the court at 8:30 am. If you have any questions, please feel free to
call Duane Troutman at 814.859.5348. Hope to see you there!
Basketball Tournaments
Basketball Tournaments will again be held on Tuesday and
Wednesday.
College/Adult Tournament for ages 17 and older will begin at
11:00 am Tuesday. Registration is $5.00/person. Coordinator:
Kevin Myers.
Youth Tournament for ages 16 and younger will begin at 12:30
pm on Wednesday. Registration is $3.00/person. Coordinator:
Kevin Myers.
These tournaments will take place at the basketball court on the
Upper Grounds. Participants can register at the Whitehall
Summer Office any time before the tournament.

Volleyball Tournament
This year’s volleyball tournament, held at the volleyball court
by the lake at 2:00 pm Thursday, is for youth, young adults and
adults who refuse to grow up. There is no pre-registration or
cost. Just show up and be ready to play. See Kevin Myers for
additional information.

radio without finding some kind of prediction as to what will lead up
to the return of Christ. In a time of so much speculation and diverse
teaching, how are we supposed to know what to believe? Join us to
discuss what the Bible actually says - and what it does not say - about
the end of time and the return of Christ. We will spend three days
looking at some of the most important Bible passages on this subject.

Monday – Being the Church - Most of us are very familiar with
going to church. We actually love going to church and would like
very much for people who don’t go to church to start going to church.
But what if fulfilling the Great Commission and the Great
Commandment had more to do with BEING the church than with
GOING? In this conference, Pastor Dave Bish leads us through his
personal journey with this idea and how he has implemented this
understanding at Tri-County Church of God in DuBois, Pennsylvania.

Tuesday – DiscipleShift - For many years the emphasis in church
growth strategies has been getting more people to come to church—as
if filling a building with people was the goal of the Great Commission
and the Great Commandment. And while it’s a wonderful thing when
people come to our church services—what do we do with them once
they come? In this conference, Pastor Dave Bish of the Tri- County
Church of God in DuBois, Pennsylvania, will share his conviction
that what Jesus really told us to do was make disciples—and not just
get people to go to church.

Tuesday: Disciplining Children the
Biblical Way

We will be looking into what the Bible says about raising
Godly children. We will also be giving you some “tools”
to use to help you in parenting. We hope to incorporate
humor (a necessary parenting component) and some fun
activities in this short session.
Wednesday: The Truth about Teenagers
Leader: Christy Pittman
Just as adults, children need to connect, to attach, to be held in
high esteem. They need to be affirmed, valued, honored,
respected and loved; yet they do all of those things differently
than we do. Sit in while we discuss the world our children live
in, how we can relate to them and it, and how we can “train
them up” giving them the wisdom to manage the knowledge
they have.

Thursday: The Sandwich Generation
Leader: Amy Worline
Are you at that “in-between” stage of life? Are your children
grown? Do you have grandchildren? Are your parents aging?
Does it seem as if your children need you less and your parents
need you more? Role reversal becomes a reality. In this
session we will discuss the sandwich generation’s life and how
to maintain a healthy level of faith and obedience to God in the
midst.

We know what to do with the first 10% of our income, but how
do we manage the other 90%? We will discuss budgets, debt
reduction and savings, and introduce tools to help children and
adults manage the 90% in Biblical and practical ways.

case. Taking care of your pastor should really mean that
every member of the body needs to minister according to
their giftedness to free up your pastor to use his/her gifts to
lead your congregation

available for counseling sessions Monday through Friday. The
sessions are offered between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm and are free
of charge.
