• Vinyls offer the easiest cleanup – ideal for high-acuity
environments; recommended for seat cushions
• Printed Cryptons have great stain protection and are
available in a variety of colorful patterns; recommended
for seat cushions and seat backs
• Woven Performance Fabrics have the most upscale,
textural look – vast selection of colors and patterns;
recommended for seat cushions and seat backs
• Mortise and tenon joints offer the strongest joint
construction; the joint may be glued, pinned
or wedged to lock it in place
• Reinforced butt joints are the most common type of
joints, and use one or more screws inserted after the
joint has been brought together – these joints may
also be reinforced with glue
Frame Materials
• Wooden chairs have a residential appeal
• Dark finishes may show scratches more prominently
than lighter finishes; however, often a finish marker is
enough to cover a scratch in wood

4-Leg Bases
• Offer each resident their own defined space
• Provide a more formal design aesthetic
• Tabletops used with these bases often require
an apron underneath, which may limit you to
chairs with shorter arm heights
Wood Pedestal Bases
• Create a warm look and can accommodate
finishes that match other furniture in the room
• Will show more wear from regular daily use
than metal bases
Solid Hardwood
• Unique color and grain variations brought out by a choice of rich finishes
• Greater resistance to scratching than synthetic materials and easy to
repair and refinish
Veneer
• Richness and beauty of real wood provides a warm, familiar feel
• Constructed of thin wooden sheets applied to the furniture’s surface
• Easily touched up in the field
Laminate
• Lower-cost alternative to veneer
• Constructed of paper (usually with a woodgrain pattern) that is attached
to a substrate (generally particle board) and sealed
Thermolaminate
• More flexible than traditional laminate, making it a more durable solution
• Heat-sealed to furniture in one continuous piece so moisture and bacteria
are kept out, and there are no edges to peel or chip
• S
elf-Edge Laminate Edge uses the same
laminate on the edge of the table as the tabletop
• Spill-Prevention Edges provide a contour
feature that helps prevent spills from hitting
residents' laps or the floor
• T-Mold Edge offers a vinyl edge that is easy to
clean and impact resistant

Versatile Dining Tables
These stylish tabletops are constructed of seamless Ndura thermolaminate and resist scratches, cracks, chips and stains
for a longer table lifespan. Pedestal tables sit 30" in height and are excellent for use in dining or activity areas. The spacesaving roller base table adjusts from 27" to 333⁄4" in height and comes complete with three casters for easy transport.
Flip-top mechanism allows for convenient storage. Tabletops are pre-drilled to match bases listed below.
High-pressure laminate tops withstand daily wear and tear. Wheelchair users can be comfortably seated at
the table thanks to flip-out leaves that fit between the armrests of most wheelchairs. Flip-out leaf is 9" wide
and when not in use securely and safely self-stores under the table with a magnet hold. Features flat PVC
edgeband. High quality urethane coating on main table edge is designed to take use and abuse. Standard black
cast iron base with adjustable floor glides. Finishes shown below.
