API Heat Transfer offers custom coolers as well as a complete line of standard preengineered fan-cooled assemblies with a variety of connection, motor, fan and mounting options. Our patented PCR® heat exchanger has become the industry standard for refrigerant air dryers. This 3-in-1 design offers energy saving heat recovery between the incoming and outgoing air streams, an efficient refrigerant cooling section and integrated moisture separation all in a single, compact, cost-effective package. Refrigerant Air Dryers Skiers love snow and when mother nature doesn’t cooperate, API Heat Transfer can assist with custom designed air-cooled packages to produce man-made snow. Fluid Power Gen Sets Snow Making –4– Mobile Vehicle Applications Our Airtech Bar & Plate heat exchanger is ideally suited for the rigorous requirements of the off-highway and on-highway markets. API Heat Transfer offers this all-aluminum design in a variety of high efficiency fins to best match the process conditions and ambient environment. Our internal fins are produced on state-of-the-art machines that can consistently create the exact fin profile needed for superior heat transfer resulting in a compact, light weight cooler. Our external fins are designed to effectively handle a range of ambient conditions to minimize fouling and allow for easy cleaning of the cooler. Airtech units can be designed as single stand alone coolers, or as combi-coolers where multiple sections are assembled and brazed into a single unit resulting in less space consumed in the engine compartment. Oil Coolers can be manufactured as single or multi-pass. CAC’s are designed with custom tanks to fit the specific requirements of our customers. API Heat Transfer also designs and manufactures vacuum brazed aluminum Tube & Header radiators. Together with our Bar & Plate Oil Coolers and CAC’s, we can design a complete, cost-effective cooling package. Finally, for your remote hydraulic oil cooling requirements, API Heat Transfer offers a complete line of standard fan-cooled units with DC motors. –5– Markets Served Include: Agriculture Construction Forestry Mining Material Handling Trucks Busses Rail RV’s Military Manufacturing Excellence API Heat Transfer’s brazed aluminum heat exchangers are manufactured in two modern facilities. API Airtech began operations in 1986 and moved into its current location in Arcade, New York in 1997. This ISO Certified state-of-the-art facility includes 80,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space and is the global center for engineering and product design. Our second facility is located in the Suzhou Industrial Park in the Jiangsu Province of China. API Heat Transfer (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. began operations in 2004 and was quickly expanded in 2006 to more than double in size to its current 82,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space. Both facilities utilize the most modern equipment available, operated by a highly trained and dedicated work force. Both incorporate comprehensive quality control processes to ensure that our Airtech aluminum heat exchangers are the finest vacuum brazed Bar & Plate and Tube & Header products available in the market. Precision Components Specialized high-speed internal and external fin making equipment produce highly efficient heat transfer fins with outstanding dimensional stability. Complete in-house sheet metal fabrication capabilities allow a wide variety of custom headers and shrouds to meet our customers’ specific needs. –6– Quality Brazed-In Vacuum Brazing Fully automated vacuum braze furnaces built to API Heat Transfer’s specifications fuse assembled cores into a vibration-resistance, stress-resistant, pressure-tight unit for maximum reliability. Robotic Welding Automated robotic welding machines are used for higher volume coolers to ensure welding integrity at higher throughputs while offering savings to our customers. Powder Coat Finish When coolers are completed, a durable epoxy coating is applied to protect against adverse environmental conditions. This highly adherent powder coating results in an attractive uniform appearance that minimizes dirt collection and fouling of the heat transfer surfaces. Excellence Through Quality Our products are designed, manufactured and tested to perform under your most exacting requirements. And to be sure that they do, we subject them to ours. With ISO-9001 as our cornerstone, we have built a comprehensive program of quality control which assures reliable performance of our products for your application. All of our employees are trained in the principles of Total Quality. At every production step, from fabrication of components to final pneumatic pressure testing, we make sure every unit conforms to the most exacting quality standards. At API Heat Transfer, we see quality as a means of fulfilling a commitment to you, the customer. We relentlessly challenge our own quality through continuous improvement programs and strive to always offer you something better for your heat exchanger needs. –7– Other Products Available from API Heat Transfer API Heat Transfer Inc. 2777 Walden Avenue Buffalo, New York 14225 (716) 684-6700 www.apiheattransfer.com Divisions: API Airtech ISO-9001 Certified Air Cooled Aluminum Heat Exchangers Type 500 Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers Hubbed Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers General purpose exchangers designed to cool oil, compressed air and other industrial fluids.
