Outreach Resources In order to assist you in sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ, excellent tracts are available at the display counter in the Atrium Café. on behalf of our church family, of $18,391 to Pastor Fuki of the Japanese church in Novi. This special offering will now be sent to the Sendai Bible Church for their relief and evangelism efforts within that devastated area. Thank you for your generosity. Eyeglasses needed. Beginning next Sunday, May 15, the Uganda Medical Short Term Mission Team will begin collecting used eye glasses to distribute later this summer for the medical clinic at Kampala Baptist Church. This is an opportunity to put your old glasses to good use. A container will be available at the Global Missions table in the foyer. Giving Tree. Plan to participate in bringing food items for our spring/summer food drive. These food items will help stock the shelves of local missions and organizations throughout the Detroit Metro area. Watch for further details. Pray for Tim Munger, as he serves with Friends of Israel in Michigan. Pray for meetings they plan to hold this month in Frankenmuth and Grand Rapids. They are thankful for God’s leading for a speaker and soloist for their Honor Israel Night in Grand Rapids. Pray for their participation in the Walk for Israel May 15 at Temple Shir Shalom in West Bloomfield at 1 PM. Pray for a music team to lead their YouthFEST worship time for their upcoming conference in December, 2011. Work Projects Needed Our High School Southfield Missions Team is looking for work projects to be done in the afternoons during Kids Camp week, June 22-25. We would like to serve those in our church community and those connected to our church family—with some larger duty jobs if possible. If you, or someone you know is in need of help with a project that would otherwise be a difficulty, please contact Sara in the Student Ministry office @ ext. 289. Resource Center 2WordStory.com.
