We worship Him for who He is, not for who we want Him to be. We bow before Him because He is Lord, not because we want Him to do something for us. True worship yields control to the King. They are thankful for jobs that make a difference in the Bible translation task around the world, and for good things happening at their church in Lancaster. Pray for good computer support for all the faithful translators around the world and for safety and protection for those working in war-torn areas. Pray for Loren as he considers joining Mark’s team, and for good planning and preparation as Mark & Pauline hope to take some time this year to visit with prayer and financial partners. Pray for Don & Esther Parsons, serving with SEND International, at the headquarters here in Farmington. Pray for them next month as they host a Guatemalan family who works with SEND in Spain. Also, Don will be traveling to Germany to participate in the SEND Eurasia Family Conference June 9—14, and then the following week will travel to Kazakhstan to participate in a training module. Pray for traveling mercies for Don and for Esther as she cares for her family at home. 2WordStory.com. Information and resources are available at a table in the Atrium Foyer. Please go to this website, and listen to some of the real stories. Then consider your own story. Pray this week that God will give you the opportunity to be a Witness—to tell your story of the difference Jesus Christ has made in your life. Invite people who do not know Christ yet, to visit the 2wordstory.com website. By sharing Christ with others you can help others to write their story of hope, redemption, and renewal. Work Projects Needed Our High School Southfield Missions Team is looking for work projects to be done in the afternoons during Kids Camp week, June 22—26. We would like to serve those in our church community and those connected to our church family—with some larger duty jobs if possible. If you, or someone you know is in need of help with a project that would otherwise be a difficulty, please contact Sara, ext. 289.
