“TVB Golden Viva Spectacular” – Singapore Station
TVB artistes Bosco Wong, Kenneth Ma, Nancy Wu, Ron Ng, Wong Cho Lam, Edwin
Siu, Alfred Hui, Gin Lee, Mimi Chu arrived Singapore to celebrate Chinese New Year
(Hong Kong – 8 February 2013) To celebrate the Year of Snake, TVB has produced the
unprecedented celebration extravaganza “TVB Golden Viva Spectacular” with Taiwan, Korea,
Malaysia and Singapore to celebrate the New Year with the global Chinese. Following Malaysia
station, TVB collaborated with its partners, StarHub, in producing “ TVB Golden Viva
Spectacular” – Singapore Station. TVB hottest artistes Bosco Wong, Kenneth Ma, Nancy Wu, Ron
Ng, Wong Cho Lam, Edwin Siu, Alfred Hui, Gin Lee and Mimi Chu arrived at Singapore on 3 –
6 February for the last overseas show station.
Promptly after arriving at Singapore, Kenneth Ma, Nancy Wu, Ron Ng and Mimi Chu went to
Singapore Flyer for the Thousand-People-Louhei. The four artistes showed up with round of
applause. They mixed well the sashimi, shredded vegetables and peanuts in a huge plate,
symbolising happiness and prosperity. On the next day, artistes visited Chinatown and tasted several
CNY snacks. They attracted a big crowd wherever they went to. At night, Mimi Chu invited the three
artistes to her home for CNY dinner. Mimi Chu and her family members prepared a plenty of
delicacies. The artistes were excited to join the Singaporean family in celebrating the Chinese New
Year!
On 6 February, TVB artistes Bosco Wong, Kenneth Ma, Nancy Wu, Ron Ng, Wong Cho Lam, Edwin
Siu, Alfred Hui and Gin Lee arrived at Esplanade for“TVB Golden Viva Spectacular” – Singapore
Station. The show featured top TVB comedian Wong Cho Lam, partnering with the Singaporean
artiste Lin Lingzhi, as a host. It was started with lion dance and then Alfred Hui delivered awesome
singing performance with Sunsilk. In view of the popularity of TVB dramas in Singapore, Nancy Wu
and Edwin Siu brought the drama songs respectively and performed the drama song of The
Confidant together. Malaysian singer Gin Lee presented with her song 1st Date with an acrobatic
team. The red-hot artiste Bosco Wong delivered two classic songs hyping up the atmosphere.
Kenneth Ma and Ron Ng showed up at last with the Singaporean magician Kiki Tay for the
breath-taking laser show. Except the TVB performers, there were also Olivia Ong, group from
popular movie Ah Boys To Men and martial art performers. TVB artistes celebrated the Chinese New
Year with the Singaporeans happily and they also sang with all fans and audiences for this golden
moment!

“TVB Golden Viva Spectacular” – Singapore Station was successfully concluded. Following the
last overseas show station, TVB will lead the audiences to Hong Kong and celebrate CNY with the
global Chinese. Hong Kong and overseas fans should not miss this golden festival extravaganza.
