teaching yoga Stephanie’s education and achievements include Yoga Alliance RYT/E-RYT 500, ACE PT, AFAA, Bachelor of Science from Washington State University, and a 220-hour certificate from BodyMind Academy as a Fitness and Nutrition Consultant, where Stephanie later taught as the primary fitness faculty
member. Stephanie owns and teaches at FLOW Yoga & Health Studio in Hood River, Oregon with her husband, Adi.
Adi - ERYT 500 equivalent Trainer. Adi co-owns Flow Yoga, a YogaFit Partner studio, in Hood River, Oregon, with his wife, Stephanie. He leads Satsang and private teachings, Dharma talks, meditation, and teaches Truth-infused yoga classes. The Sangha at Flow is dedicated to welcoming all who are truly interested in
Freedom. Therefore, they have created a charitable Prison Program to bring the message of peace and freedom to those in prison.
Adi was trained initially in classical Ashtanga by Yogi Ashok Kumar under the Bihar School, in addition to initiation into Kriya Yoga by Sri Chandra Prakash.
Adi also spent time learning from Hatha Yoga master Swami Balyogi Premvarni. During this first visit to India, he completed more than 200 hours of classical
Indian Yoga training in Rishikesh. He returned to India in 2008 and studied Classical Ashtanga with Sri Jayakumar of Mysore, India, bringing his training to well
over 500 hours of hatha Yoga training. Additionally, he has been trained by his wife, Stephanie, in YogaFit’s Level 1, 3, 4, 5 and Anatomy. His training in the
Jnana Yoga path has been over 15,000 hours of study and teaching.
Sandi , YogaFit Trainer Manager and ACE certified trainer. Her love for the industry has brought many opportunities. She has been a Fitness manager for several health clubs. She has her own business providing Wellness programs for companies in the Salt Lake area. Sandi’s first YogaFit training was with Beth Shaw in
California in the old YogaFit Studio in Hermosa. This began a move to bring YogaFit and all ins benefits to Salt Lake City. “ I was a candidate to become a trainer
because I took level 1 about 6 times, because I loved it so much ” Since then she has been in nearly every state in the union teaching the YogaFit style. “I have
learned more in my association with YogaFit and in my travels and meeting all the wonderful people who come to trainings than I could ever teach anyone.”
Tracy, a 20 year veteran the US Air Force began her yoga practice over 8 years ago. While on active duty, an injury caused the physical challenge of sciatica to
arise, so as a way to help maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle she began dabbling in different disciplines of yoga, discovering the YogaFit style, finding
her home. As she grew to understand the value of the mind/body connection, she decided to pursue her dream of becoming a fitness professional, embodying all aspects of the profession. Subsequently, she attended her first YogaFit Level 1 training in 2001. In addition to having completed her 200 R. Y. T., she has
been an AFAA certified group fitness instructor for over 10 years, where she now focuses on indoor cycling, dance, and preprogrammed muscle strength and
endurance training. Tracy has a BS in Human Resource Management, is an AFAA/ACE Certified Personal Trainer and has managed group fitness programs at
several fitness facilities throughout the United States.
Kristin began studying yoga for over 10 years. YogaFit has shown Kristin how to keep all the beauty of a yoga practice while making it safe, accessible, and
enjoyable for everyone. Her love of yoga, sharing knowledge, travel, and meeting other altruistic souls makes Kristin’s role as Senior Master Trainer a successful one. She hopes to share YogaFit with as many people as possible, in addition to helping preserve natural resources in her Alaskan environment. Kristin is an
E-RYT/RYT, holds ACE group fitness and personal trainer certifications, and has a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University.
Kristy, a triathlete, marathon runner, and tennis player was looking for a kinder gentler workout for her body when she started practicing yoga. Kristy felt as if
she had found her passion after taking her first YogaFit Vinyasa flow class. Excited to share what she had discovered with others, she began her teacher training journey with YogaFit. She completed her Yoga Alliance 200 hour certificate and her 500 hour yoga teacher training certificate after an intensive in India.
Kristy holds a Master’s Degree in Health & Fitness Management from the University of Oregon and is a Certified Health Fitness Specialist by the American
College of Sports Medicine and holds an American Council on Exercise Personal Trainer Certification. Kristy is a 25 year veteran of the fitness industry in both
management roles, presenter, lecturer and personal trainer. Kristya and is a Master Trainer for YogaFit International, traveling and presenting teacher training
workshops in the USA and internationally.
Kathy DeKramer is a Senior Trainer for YogaFit and has been teaching in the Fitness Industry for over 26 years. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in
Physical Education and Recreation Therapy from Whittier College (CA) and is an ACE and AFAA certified instructor (both Primary Group Exercise and Yoga).
Kathy has been teaching yoga for 8 years and is currently an E-RYT (200hr) with Yoga Alliance. Kathy took her first YogaFit training and fell in love with not only

Club®, a company providing after school fitness programs for children. Further, Patti is completing her Bachelors degree in Health Care Management and
is currently teaching multiple group fitness classes in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Anand, ERYT 500, from Rishikesh, India, will teach our Classical Yoga practice that will include mantra, asana, pranayama, meditation, chanting, and an opportunity to ask questions of this master visiting us from Rishikesh, India, the birthplace of Yoga. He was born in Rishikesh, India, the town where yoga is said to have
originated over 5,000 years ago. Anand has spent most of his life learning from many of the great sages and yogis in India. He was destined to be a teacher from
an early age and began teaching at 16 years. He studied under many Masters in the Himalayas and was initiated into several different yogic paths including
Kriya, Sivananda, Shakti Tantra, and Raja Yoga. He is also Vedic Astrology master. His teachings work toward dissolving the ego and the false belief systems that
hold us back and expanding into an aware and liberated state of existence. The method is an inclusive approach to the lifestyles of today and about inviting

Ken Perry
Born in Chicago, IL, Ken Perry grew up in Compton, CA, one of the poorest areas of Southern California. He was the only child of a working mother. As a result, he grew up on the
streets and learned to do street things.
He was into fast money. He succeeded in making it. By 19 he owned a townhouse and expensive car, thanks to selling a lot of cocaine.
Although his mother pleaded with him to stop doing what he was doing… she didn’t want him to end up “dead or in jail,” he continued with what he knew.
Then he was arrested, convicted and served time in both state and federal penitentiaries. After his release, he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. The five shots he took put
him in the hospital for two and a half months… and he had to learn to walk again.
That’s when Ken determined to change his life. He learned that money wasn’t everything. His mother was right.
He ultimately learned that “fast money isn’t good money because you didn’t work for it… it goes just as fast as it comes.”
Flash forward 10 years… he’s happily married, has four children, a good job, has become a Certified Yoga Instructor and wants to bring YogaFit® into Correctional Centers to help
the incarcerated find true liberation.
How did he get to where he is today? Having worked in distribution and warehouses, about a year ago, when he was seeking a new job, he found YogaFit’s job listing for a warehouse manager on the internet. He applied and, despite cautions from her board about hiring an ex-con, YogaFit’s founder, Beth Shaw, followed her instincts and hired him. They
are both glad she did.
Being at YogaFit, Ken got curious about yoga. He’d never been exposed to it before. YogaFit has a lending library of DVDs, CDs, and books for their personnel. He liked what he
experimented with… so much so that he’s become certified in Level 1, Level 2, Level 5 and Seniors.
Now he wants to help others change their way of thinking.
“Yoga is letting go of competition without judgment toward ourselves or others. It is totally and completely accepting who we are. Bringing yoga to their world (prisoners) will
help, in and out of jail,” stated Ken.

YogFit® Teacher Training Level One: This informative workshop gives instructors the tools to create inspiring vinyasa
yoga classes that are founded on flow yet grounded in the safety of exercise science. The learning includes physical execution,
transitions, and modifications to traditional yoga poses with an emphasis on effectiveness and safety. Dynamic vinyasa sequencing,
flowing class formats, and transformative language for communicating the mind/body connection have made this the most popular
vinyasa yoga style in the world today. While most attendees have experience as either yoga students, teachers, therapists, or as fitness professionals, there are no prerequisites, only the desire to learn and commitment to attend. Level 1 includes an innovative and
experiential learning environment guided by a talented and experienced YogaFit Master Trainer, Level One DVD (first-time participants only), and a comprehensive training manual.
YogaFit has trained thousands of people worldwide. Students will receive a Certificate of Completion which qualifies one to teach
