Selwood has designed and manufactured
mobile site pumps for over fifty years and
is now acknowledged as one of the UK

enterprise. Since its inception in 1955, the
company has seen consistent expansion
into new market areas both in the UK and
overseas, with 70% of pump units now
being exported through a worldwide
distributor network.
Selwood’s original pump designs, the well
known “Simplite”, “Spate” and “Seltorque”
models, quickly established themselves as
the market standard in the construction
industry, and upgraded versions of those
same designs still play a vital role within
the impressive line-up of diaphragm and
prime assisted centrifugal pumps.
Today, the company addresses the needs
of many industries including construction,
marine, environmental and pollution
control, mining and industrial effluent
management. This broad spectrum
demands that a wide range of materials
may be handled from water and solids
in suspension to bentonite muds, oil and
bilge slurries.
