of construction equipment on the south

Selwood has designed and manufactured
mobile site pumps for over fifty years and is
now acknowledged as one of the UK leaders

With a commitment to quality, safety and
the environment, Selwood is proud to be
one of the few companies within the UK
that holds all three recognised standards:- Quality
- Environmental
- Health & Safety.
All Super Silent units are fully bunded,
ensuring that any
fuel or oil leakage
is retained within
the bund and does
not contaminate the
surroundings. Drain
plugs within the unit’s
chassis can then be
used to remove the
fluids.
Auto Stop/Start & Telemetry*
Float control for automatic stopping and
starting of the pump. This is a no-nonsense
system giving a simple, outstanding
performance for the cost conscious.
Telemetry allows remote measurement
and reporting of the pumps operation,
directly to pre-selected mobiles or land
lines, providing real time alarm messages
for high level float, failure/start, engine fault
and emergency stop activation.
* Not currently available for the H150 or H200

Selwood Simplite PD50
A general purpose, lightweight,
reciprocating diaphragm pump, the Simplite
has gained an international reputation for
efficiency and dependability. Versatile in
application, the pump will handle site water,
slurries, sand and similar abrasives.

The Spate handles dirty water, slurries,
light and heavy oils, petroleum industry
products, including some of the more
viscous liquids, at a high, non turbulent
flow rate. It is also well suited to a variety
of demanding site conditions. The unique
design makes it the perfect pump for the
control of oil pollution. It is world renowned
for its suitability on all oil recovery
applications and works in conjunction
with a wide variety of recovery systems
and skimmers. Simplicity of design and
construction provides for total ease of
maintenance. Hydraulic, pneumatic, diesel,
petrol and electric drives can be fitted to
suit individual needs.
D RANGE (DRAINER)
SELPRIME
These robust high performance pumps with
indefinite dry running ability are particularly
suitable for water companies, pump
hirers and high flow applications. The
range offers easy operation, unparalleled
reliability and inherent safety.
The new D80 and D100 pumps are
compact and cost effective 3” and 4”
pumps that are extremely versatile,
performing very effectively in a wide variety
of applications. The D150WP has been
specifically designed for all wellpoint
applications and produces maximum
drawdown at an operating speed of just
1500rpm.
Low operating costs are achieved
through overall design efficiency together
with a series of innovative features, which
produce an impressive maximum flow rate
of 600m3/hr. a maximum head of 40.5m
and the handling of solids of up to 55mm.

range has the unique Selprime automatic

an oil immersed mechanical seal

The environmentally friendly high head
range has the unique Selprime automatic
air pump priming. The H80 has an oil
immersed mechanical seal with all other
models using a two ring vacuum gland
providing extended dry running. The
‘H’ range features abrasive resistant
pump ends ideal for those more arduous
applications.
With a wide range of models available,
heads of up to 140m* and capacities of up
to 950m3h are achievable. All the pumps
provide fully automatic self priming from
depths of up to 9.1m

HS RANGE (HYDRO-SUB)
The high performance hydraulic
submersible Selwood Hydrosub pumps
comprise 50mm - 200mm models with
electric start diesel driven hydraulic power
packs fully protected by an automatic
shutdown system.
A unique feature of this range of pumps
is their versatility. The hydraulic wet
ends, available in aluminium, cast iron or
stainless steel, are capable of a high
flow and low head or a low flow and
high head.

The hydraulic system can run on
synthetic biodegradable or vegetable
oil which significantly reduces harmful
environmental pollution. The hydraulics
incorporate a large return filter ensuring
that any contaminants are captured
and the fuel tank has flushing panels and
a drain facility as well as providing 24hr
running capability. Safety features include
full engine protection and hydraulic shut off
through oil loss.

The Selwood C150 chopper pump is the
ideal solution for pumping solids, sludge
and rags.
Building upon Selwood’s market leading
reputation, the Selwood C150 chopper
pump has been developed with our
key partners in the process, industrial
and water sectors. All have a common
requirement to pump and condition liquids
that contain a high proportion of solids,
organic matter or rags.
The Selwood C150 chopper pump, with its
hardened impeller and cutter (60 rockwell)
plus a cutting action giving 3000 cuts per
minute, is more than capable of meeting
these arduous applications.
C150 Electric
The C150 automatic self-priming diesel has
the choice of either a skid mount or mobile
site chassis for on-site flexibility. It also
comes with Selprime as standard.
