Sandhu is a marketing communications professional with over 20 years’ experience in the Asia Pacific
region across multiple categories. Coca-Cola, Sony, Canon, Unilever, Peugeot, Oracle, Shell and the
Governments of Singapore & Malaysia have benefited from his expertise. He currently leads the regional
strategic planning and integrated media functions across South East Asia for the Hakuhodo Group of
Companies, based in Singapore since 2012. He also drives the pivotal new business agenda for Lunch
Communications, Hakuhodo’s boutique agency in Malaysia. He recently judged the 2014 Asia Pacific
Marketing Effectiveness Awards in Singapore and sits on the board of the 2014 iMedia Agency Conference.
Margaret Lim CEO, Dentsu Aegis Network Malaysia
With over 30 years experience in the media industry, Margaret started the first media specialist company
in Malaysia and initiated the start of the Malaysian Media Specialist Association where she served as the
founding President. A highly respected communications specialist she joined the Aegis network in 1998 and
is credited for its growth from one company, Carat, to include Vizeum, Posterscope, Isobar, and iProspect.
In July, Dentsu Aegis network appointed Margaret Lim as Chief Executive Officer to lead and oversee the
newly integrated group’s operations in Malaysia overseeing agency brands Dentsu Malaysia, Dentsu Media
Malaysia, Dentsu Utama, Carat, Isobar, iProspect, Posterscope and Vizeum.
Jason Ko CEO Malaysian Youth Community (MYC!) MYC! was founded in 2000 by Jason when he was an Investment Banker. When he came back from Canada,
he met many smart young Malaysians who started short in their career simply because they could not afford
a degree. He created a website and over 2,000 scholarships and courses were listed but the project took
on a life of its own with Jason even leaving his well paid job in portfolio management to run this project
without salary for the first year. 10 years on, MYC! is one of the largest student employers in Malaysia and
is responsible for channelling more than RM 1.5 million in cash to Malaysian students via jobs, event prizes,
cash scholarships, etc. Jason knows youth like no else in this market.
Simon Kahn Chief Marketing Officer, Google Asia Pacific
Simon is responsible for marketing strategy, development, and execution for Google’s consumer-facing and B2B
products and solutions in Asia Pacific. Previously, he worked at American Express for thirteen years including
serving as Country Manager for Singapore from 2008 to 2011. Prior to joining American Express, Simon was
Executive Director of Youth Venture, a non-profit organisation that works with young people to develop and run
their own businesses and organisations. Simon worked in national politics and government for four years before
joining Youth Venture including working in the White House Liaison office in the Department of State.
Jamshed Wadia Head of Digital & Social Media, Intel AsiaPacific & Japan Jamshed has over 15 years of experience within the information technology industry which spans areas like
Product Management, Retail Marketing, Sales Management, Digital Marketing and Social Media Strategy.
Currently, he is a part of the Asia Pacific Brand and Campaigns team at Intel, with his focus area being Digital and

Gowthaman Ragothaman Chief Operations Officer, Mindshare AsiaPacific
Gowthaman, mostly known to everybody in the industry as G’Man, has reinvented himself five times in the
last 25 years in the Media & Entertainment Industry across - TV Era (1990), Satellite Era (1994), Media
Agency Era (1997), Internet Boom & Bust Era (2001), Procurement Era (2005) and Digital Era (2010). Firmly
believes the Era of Content is just round the corner and is getting ready for his next reincarnation.

Rohan Philips Head of Product and Operations, Asia Pacific - Xaxis (GroupM)
Rohan is in charge of a team comprising of Audience Traders, Data Analysts, Publisher management and
launching and scaling up Xaxis operations across 13 markets in Asia. At Xaxis, data and technology are used
to help advertisers reach and engage with audiences at scale. Prior to his role at Xaxis, Rohan worked at
MediaCom Asia Pacific where he developed real data driven and technological capabilities and operations
for clients such as P&G across the region. Before moving to MediaCom, Rohan worked at Starcom
Mediavest in the UK working in the performance team and also a brief stint in public relationship at Ketchum
London.
Prashant Kumar President World Markets Asia-Pacific, IPG Mediabrands
Prashant oversees operations across 9 countries. He also heads UM in Malaysia, which was voted Agency
of the year at the Malaysian Media Awards for 5 years. It also became one of the rare media agencies in the
world to get an A+ rating by RECMA Paris three years in a row. Prashant started his career with Starcom
India in 1999, after a failed dotcom business, to satisfy his thirst for a people-centric business. He was the
youngest jury member at Cannes Media Lions in 2009. Prashant has been recognized as Global Agency
Innovator of the year in 2012 by New York based Internationalist magazine and celebrated by the Wall Street
Journal as the youngest regional president and a leading innovator in the industry.
Stanley Lim Regional Director, Southeast Asia, Innity Prior to Innity, Stan worked in 8elements and Gameloft in Sales and Marketing. He is now tasked with
strengthening and developing Innity’s latest products while executing the strategic direction of the
company’s core businesses in the region. In between all that hectic business, rumour has it that Stan
moonlights as a professional Starcraft gamer. Innity is the leading digital media network that provides

Timothy Tiah Director, Reelity.TV
Timothy Tiah is the co-founder of Netccentric which established the blog advertising company Nuffnang in
February 2007. Nuffnang’s rapid growth has led to a network currently comprising of over 1 million bloggers
in Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, Philippines, China, Hong Kong and Thailand. Netccentric, now has over
150 full time staff and houses several online businesses. Nom Nom Media was founded as the exclusive
digital reseller of Nuffnang, YouTube Content Creator Reelity.TV, social media advertising network Churp
Churp,and design house Ripplewerkz . Both Timothy and Ming were nominated by Businessweek as two of
the 25 best young Asian entrepreneurs in 2007.
Phu Truong Managing Director, South East Asia, TubeMogul
TubeMogul is the leading media buying platform for video advertising. Phu is responsible for growing the
overall business across Asia. His career in digital has spanned over 14 years across various senior roles
at startups and multinationals, including CNBC and The Wall Street Journal. His most recent role was Vice
President, Commercial and Operations at BBC.com. Phu holds degrees from the University of California at
Berkeley and Boston University. He has worked across three continents - the US, Europe and Asia.
Andrew Tu Managing Director APAC - TheTradeDesk
Andy started his career in advertising in the early-nineties and was one of the ‘old-school’ advertising guys
who got lucky and literally ‘fell’ into the interactive/digital marketing space. Since then he has been intimately
involved within the digital ecosystem across APAC since the mid-nineties. He is one of the lucky ones to have
been involved since the ‘dawn of digital marketing in APAC’ when he was given the opportunity to help setup
and then manage the first OgilvyInteractive office in Hong Kong. This was in 1995. This had lead to a series
of adventures across the region that included being part of the launch team for Microsoft’s brand new portal
– MSN in 1999; restructuring and re-launching Astro’s digital services group in 2003; leading OMG’s regional
digital team in 2007, and over the past 4 years helping to pioneer, evangelize and build the programmatic
buying ecosystem in the region with leadership roles at Brandscreen and now, TheTradeDesk.
Laurent Thevenet Technical Director, BBDO and Proximity Singapore A software engineer and database architect by training with 15 years of experience, Laurent is a self taught
touche-à-tout in things that matter. Prior to joining BBDO, Laurent was an entrepreneur and creative
technologist at interactive studio & start-up RightBrain Asia. He has led front/backend development work
in user experience, user interaction, responsive web design, server infrastructure design, video production
and motion graphics. His clients included Singapore Ministry Of Community Development, Youth and Sports,
Pascal Morabito and Mediacorp Suria Channel. Laurent also pioneered web television in Singapore, running
awan-awan.com, an online channel dedicated to the Malay market from 2008-2010.
Ranganathan Somanathan COO South East Asia, Starcom MediaVest Group
Prior to his regional role, Ranga was CEO of Starcom MediaVest Group (SMG) and Optimedia Malaysia. Before that, he was VP of Insights & Analytics for SMG across the Asia-Pacific region. Ranga had helped
developed and launched IntenTrack, a proprietary tool and approach on measuring accountability for clients
in 12 markets across Asia in 2008. Before that, he was MD of SMG’s Indonesia which grew by 40% under
his watch. He had also headed the Research & Strategic Planning function at SMG Malaysia before and for
his work on Microsoft,in 2005, he was recognized as one of the Top 10 Suits, in Asia by leading advertising
trade publication, Media Asia.

Benjamin Tan CEO & Chief Digital Officer, Grey Digital, Southeast Asia
Ben has over 19 years of experience in the digital, beginning when he co-founded local dotcom icon the
Info-Lab in 1995. He spent time at Microsoft as regional product manager for MSN, and heading the mobile
consulting business at Redpill, a strategy consultancy acquired by IBM, where he worked with Nokia, DTAC,
and Zuji. Ben teamed up with Yolk studio to form Yolk Pte Ltd in Nov 2007, and within three years, increased
the Singapore start-up’s revenue by four-fold, transforming it from a digital producer to a digital agency with
strategy and social engagement capabilities and clients across SEA. In 2010, WPP acquired Yolk into Grey
Group to expand its digital footprint across Asia.
Jordan Khoo Vice President APAC, Sizmek
Jordan is the VP for SIZMEK. In the last 8 years, Jordan has successfully led the launching of 6 Asian
countries and firmly establishing DG MediaMind as the leading campaign management platform of choice
regionally. As a key collaborator in the APAC internet media community, he has established strong business
relationships with the largest advertisers, agencies & publishers continuously pushing to grow digital in
the region. His extensive Asia-Pacific market experience & strong background in digital marketing makes
Jordan a very much sought-after speaker/partner/devil’s advocate on all things digital & marketing.

Andreas Vogiatzakis CEO, Omnicom Media Group
A global ad industry citizen, Andreas kick-started his career in New York and set sail to Asia in 1997.
After setting up D’Arcy Japan media and a short stint with Wieden & Kennedy Tokyo, he joined Starcom,
cementing it to be a strong international agency in Japan. He later moved to Taiwan at the helm of the
Mindshare group and in 2006, he joined OMG Malaysia. A firm believer in curating strategic partnerships
and turning clients into enthusiastic referral sources, he transformed OMG into an award winning formidable
force and has received numerous awards and accolades. Andreas is a Certified Professional Coach locally &
internationally (CCA & ICF) and has served several industry boards, advisory councils, award juries as well
as the Board of Directors of the European Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia.
Henry Tan Chief Operating Officer, Astro
As COO of Astro Malaysia, Henry is in charge of all content and marketing for the group. Astro TV has
over 170 content channels and 68 homegrown Astro-branded channels, Malaysia’s #1 radio operator with 9
leading FM stations and a publication business with 14 print and digital magazines. All of this reaches out to
over 4 million households, 16 million viewers, 13 million listeners and over 6 million readers.
In his time at Astro, the business has seen unprecedented double-growth, both in new subscribers and
ARPU (average revenue per user). Prior to Astro, Henry was CEO of Mindshare Malaysia and CEO of
GroupM, Malaysia & Singapore.
