Dear Friends of the Arlberghaus,,
Clear winter days in a landscape of sparkling white,
glistening snow crystals, ski runs down well kept pistes
– so many happy memories to associate with „Winter
Holidays“. We think of the trees, deeply covered in
snow, the tang of the snow we notice whilst on the ski
lift, travelling, full of expectation, up the mountain.
The lift on the practice slope is being replaced this year
by a new 6er - chair lift. Where the first austrian ski lift
went into operation in 1937 now sees the start of a big
new lift project : the Trittkopfbahn will be renovated and
a new ski lift link created bringing skiers to Rauz.
A great new modern convenience to look forward to!
Familiar faces will be waiting to look after you at the
Arlberghaus this winter - Manfred at reception, Balász
in the restaurant, Philip in the bar, Monika in housekeeping, and of course Mike our head chef – they all sign
themselves responsible for relaxing, indulging and
spoiling holidays at the Arlberghaus.
The winter season 2015 – 2016 kicks off with the Snow
Safety conference, an interesting event on the theme of
safety whilst skiing. Last January’s highlight, the race „
Der Weisse Ring“ saw a team from the Arlberghaus taking part for the first time ever. Thomas, Stefanie, Ricky
and Markus were at the start! For the race in 2017 we
will be drawing for 2 starting places for competitive
Arlberghausguests! All hotel guests in winter 2015/2016
can enter and the draw for 2 racers will take place at
the end of the winterseason. They will join up with
Thomas and Stefanie to represent the Arlberghaus!

Your little ones are welcomed with open arms. For our tiniest
guests we offer travel beds, cots, bottle warmers, baby phones,
baby sledges and snug blankets. We are happy to arrange a
baby sitter for day or evening time. The ski kindergarten ( next
door) takes children from 2 years onwards, and also offers childcare services over lunch. (Please note that the ski kindergarten
and ski school are closed on Saturdays).
We look after our smaller guests in the restaurant with friendly
and prompt service and the children are free to choose their
own dishes. High chairs available.
Childrens supper as from 6pm.
The DVD room is open daily from 4pm for the Kids Cinema and
offers a wide range of DVDs, the Nintendo Wii System is
especially popular. Home cinema, multi media room with
beamer, dvd player, Nintendo Wii, games and dvds.

Ski Kindergarten: Childcare services are offered
daily from Sundays –Fridays 9am – 4pm (lunch
included) in Little Zürs (next door) for children
from 2 years onwards.
Childrens Ski school: ski school meeting point is
directly behind the hotel, courses for children from
4 years onwards, lunchtime supervision on request, weekly races for the ski school participants.
Snowboard courses for children and teens.
Little Zürs ski area: all the children are brought in
the Snow train to Little Zürs. A variety of conveyor
belts and colourful figures ensure that the children
have fun learning to ski.
Kidz in Zürs: during the school holidays there is a
range of activities for children up to 12.
