The Cancer Concern Center was created in 1998 as a way to extend a warm
and loving welcome to cancer patients and their families so that all can
experience the comfort and support that they need. We are a non-pro�it
organization committed to serving the needs of individuals who are coping
with cancer by providing them with the ability to achieve a greater sense
of control over their lives, freedom from isolation and loneliness, and the
emotional support needed in dealing with the realities of their disease.
We are inviting your participation by donating items to be included as an
auction item at our 16th Annual Dinner/Dance Fundraiser to be held at
The Sunset Ballroom at Jack Baker’s Lobster Shanty, Pt. Pleasant Beach,
NJ, on March 29, 2014.
In appreciation, your company’s name will be prominently acknowledged
in our event program.
The Cancer Concern Center is a federally recognized non-pro�it, tax-exempt
organization. As such, our only funding is through private donations and
our fundraising efforts. Such donations are vital to the continuation of our
Center. We have a staff of volunteers, many of whom are survivors themselves,
assisting cancer patients in achieving a positive image and attitude. The
Cancer Concern Center provides comprehensive health programs (free of
charge) which include weekly support meetings, yoga classes, nutritional
workshops, and brand-new wigs.
Our success depends upon the support and generosity of companies like
yours, and we would be extremely grateful for your assistance. Please be
advised that your donation is tax-deductible to the amount allowed by law.
