2012 Getaway with God
6th
The Annual Getaway with God will be held Friday evening, February 24 to Saturday evening,
February 25, at the Colvert Ministry Center. Based on Psalm 139, this year’s theme is “Fearfully
and Wonderfully Made: Rejecting the Lies, Embracing God’s Truth.” Doors open at 5:30 Friday
night and 8:30 Saturday morning. The event concludes at 6:30 Saturday evening.

We are thrilled to have Toni Ruffino return as our worship leader. Toni is from Houston, Texas,
and has been with us since our very first Getaway. Toni is wholeheartedly a “girl after God’s own
heart” and leads us straight to the Father’s heart in worship. She will also be with us at the EPIC
service on February 26.

Also returning for the sixth year is our Prayer Team ladies from Madill, offering each participant a
time of one-on-one, personal prayer. And for the third straight year, a team of 16-18 women from
Convergence Church in Ft. Worth will be available for individual times of ministry. Trained in discerning God’s voice and direction, they encourage each believer in their unique gifting and calling.
In church Sunday, Lianna Scholz shared her powerful and transformational experience during
these times of prayer and ministry. We feel incredibly blessed that so many women from various
communities and churches freely give of their time and hearts to make the Getaway with God both
a corporate and personal experience of God’s amazing love.
