been shoeing horses since 1990. She attended the Wolverine Farrier
School owned and instructed by International Farrier Hall of Fame
Member, Robert Reaume. Jennifer began competing and became a
Certified Journeyman Farrier in 2001. She serves as an Approved tester
for the American Farriers Association. Jennifer has been active with the
Michigan Horseshoers Association, serving as their Secretary for more
than a dozen years and now serves as the Vice President. Jennifer has
co-chaired Michigan's Annual Clinic & Contest with Richard Becker for
more than 10 years. Jennifer is a founding member of the American
Association of Professional Farriers and has strong belief in associations
and continued education. Jennifer participated in the Edward Martin
Cultural Exchange Program in 2010. In addition to her career as a farrier,
she is also a creative Artist-Blacksmith.
