Here is a guideline for initial conversations that you might have when asking your contacts for help with starting your Arbonne business. • 1. WHO: Create your list of who you are going to call. Recommend to work from your 100 person contact list. • 2. WHY: Let people know you are serious about this business, not just a hobby. Tell them your top 2-3 reasons WHY you are starting an Arbonne business for your family. • 3. WHEN: Figure out when you can have your events in the month by putting your faith, family and job on your calendar, then find your available spots! Give them a few dates within that same month to book an appointment or get together! • 4. REWARD: What will THEY get out of it! • 5. Date set before you get off phone! Ask them “WHAT DAY OF THE WEEK IS BEST FOR YOU?” VERBIAGE: (when making calls have this script in front of you) Hi Suzie, this is ___________. Do you have a few minutes? I don’t know if you know that I have started building a business with Arbonne, because: (tell them the reason why you are starting biz) *I am looking for 10 people to help me get started, because I need to branch out and meet new people and practice sharing. I am wondering if you could be one of those 10 for me? If you would be willing to have a few friends over for a Health and Wellness event, I will make it worth your time and will shower you with amazing rewards! **I genuinely believe that you would love these products because they are botanically based, safe, and good for you. My presentations are valuable because you and a few guests will learn more about your health, your skin, and how to reduce the symptoms of aging and diseases. You can also choose to get a free facial or sample the shakes and nutrition line. If you did do a get together for me, what day of the week is the best for you and a few friends and family? *Whatever day they name, offer her two dates on that day that YOU have open. * EXTRA SPECIAL TIPS *If they say they need to look at their calendar, say, “I understand, but since you said that Thursdays would be the best day, can I pencil you in on Thursday the 7th or 14th and then check with you tomorrow and confirm it after you look at your calendar?” If they said YES to an event, don’t get off the phone until you get a date “penciled in”! *If they say NO to having an event, ask for a One on One…say, “I understand! Could I just swing by your house this week and let you try the #1 Anti Aging Skincare with a natural botox – you will love it? I genuinely think these products will create a wonderful result for you. Is Tuesday or Thursday better for you? “ Or for the Nutrition tasting one on one say: “I understand! And I genuinely believe you will be impressed with these products and the health that backs them. Is Tuesday or Thursday better for you? Then the day before your one on one, call her to confirm your “swing by” and tell her – “you know, Suzie, I will have enough things packed if you want to invite your mom or sister over….I don’t mind at all.” * If they say NO to a One on One, ask if you can drop off a free sample for them to try – say “I understand! Can I just drop off a sample of the ___________ products for you to try this week? I’d like to see if they could help you with your….(skin needs, health, digestion, energy, psoriasis, etc.) What day this week will be good for me to stop by and give them to you? *If they book an event and are close enough to you, tell them you will drop by a Host Packet for them and find out when. You want about 5 minutes of face to face with them when you drop the packet off to go over it. *If they book an event and are more than 20-30 minutes away, tell them you will mail the packet to them and then spend about 5 minutes host coaching before hanging up. *Voicemail – Don’t leave a detailed message. Make them want to call you back. “Hey Sally, This is Vicky, I just wanted to run something by you real quick, give me a shout back as soon as you can”. Host Coaching – 5 TOUCHES Once you book em – you want to keep em! Your attention to these 5 Host Touches will keep the majority of your appts. ********************************************************************************* FIRST STEP before you begin these 5 Touches is to write these 5 TOUCHES on your Calendar after you have booked your appointment. You will write these 5 touches on days leading up to your appointment as a ‘task” item. You might also consider setting an alarm on your phone! AGAIN YOUR ATTENTION TO HOST TOUCHES will guarantee the majority of your appointments to KEEP! Appointments is your lifeblood of your biz. HOST COACH #1 - IMMEDIATELY after you BOOK set up your Host event in the Arbonne system. If you choose to email invitations, that can be done from the Host Rewards System. You get the appointment booked, YOUR FIRST TOUCH is to GIVE the HOST A CATALOG and a LETTER WITH THE DATE OF THE APPOINTMENT. Let them know, they will get more people to attend if they personally CALL their friends and tell them they will get pampered and educated about their skin and health! Tell them you will be sending them an invitation within a few days by email that they can use OR they can use the Redstamp Invitation through their Text Blast, but again personal phone calls is key to getting friends to see the FUN and personalized touch for them to come. Spend this time with your host eye ball to eye ball – so you get a better result. *** Let them know there is an EXTRA BONUS gift if they get 3 of their friends to book a get together BEFORE their get together night ever happens. HOST COACH #2 - SAME DAY or NEXT DAY that you book write as TASK item Send a personal THANK YOU card in the mail to your host. My family and I are doing this business to get out of debt/so I can stay home/etc., so we appreciate your help in having this get together. HOST COACH #3 - WITHIN 3 DAYS that you book write as TASK item Email your Host the invitation along with the following paragraph below. Make sure you get confirmation from your host they received your email – so keep emailing and texting them to make sure they got it. EMAIL EXAMPLE Hi Susan! I AM SUPER EXCITED ABOUT OUR TIME TOGETHER! Attached are two invitations for your get together scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 21st at 10:00am. You can use either one that you prefer. You can email it to your guests or print out and hand out. It is a Word Document, so you can adjust anything on it that I got wrong:) If you prefer the Redstamp Invitation by text blast, you are welcome to choose that method. I'm looking forward to seeing you again, sharing valuable information about health and skin care, sampling products, and pampering you and your friends with relaxing amazing products. You will have more guests come to the event if you are also able to call them and tell them about what we will be doing and that they will leave feeling refreshed! Tell them you went to one of these events and it was fun and you got pampered. I like to let guests know that its not a typical "shopping" party – they will be getting pampered and great skin and health information. Remind them we will be doing a facial and so they don't need to worry about their makeup or dressing up! YOU will love your HOST PACKAGE REWARDS….I can’t wait for you to have your shopping experience. You can keep everything simple with just a few snacks and drinks because I will keep them busy as soon as they arrive with the pampering :) I encourage you to also look at it as an opportunity to treat yourself and relax with friends. HOST COACH #4 – 4 DAYS BEFORE EVENT that you book write as TASK item Call your host and ask if she has an idea of how many guests are coming. This is where YOU MAY NEED TO HELP THEM! If they say nobody can come – ask her who she invited. IF she can’t really say, encourage her to just ask her mom, sister, her best friend….ask her if she knows anyone who is really health conscious. Bottom line, you tell her you have reserved this date for her and even if no one comes, you will be coming to pamper her! This usually lets them see that you are still coming and then they will likely just grab people to come over! HOST COACH #5 – THE DAY BEFORE your event write as TASK item Text or call your Host and ask approximately how many are coming. Remind them that you are only asking so you will know how much to bring with you. Remind them you will be arriving 30-45 minutes early to setup. Finally – after you get this last TOUCH #5 done, get in the habit of spending a moment in prayer that everyone that needs Arbonne products or business opportunity will be able to get there. Pray for the guests that are suppose to be there to make it for them to have open hearts and minds…and for your courage to walk through every door God opens for you. Your appointments are the life line to expanding your network every week, so pray people will be at them. EXTRA TIPS: Watch the Trifecta You Tube before every appointment so you are fresh and on purpose with closing your appointments with new bb’s to join your team! Find the you tube on tammyclinton.com If for some UNFORESEEN circumstance happens, and the host text you or calls you they need to cancel – PICK UP THE PHONE and CALL HER. Let her know you totally understand, you will need to either reschedule her appt or schedule a one on one with her in place of the date. Let her know you don’t do cancellations because of the gifts you gave her, but you do “reschedules”.
