This technologie is composed with two parts :
Flat progressive spider
The spider is very smooth at the
beginning when the music is quiet and
when we need a maximum of details.
It alows to listen everything with a very
fast sub.
But when the music hits, the cone is
moving more and the suspension
becomes harder. It alows to put a lot of
power. The sub keeps the controle, the
distorsion remain low.
This spider is very polyvalent for many
tipes of differents music.
The spider becomes harder
with the increasement of displacement of the cone
The voice coil cannot go out of
the gap because of the internal
guide
Extended pole piece
Thanks to the extended pole pice, the
magnetic flux in the gap is more homogenius, more symetrical. She’s increasing the linerity and the performances
of the sub.
The second role of the extended pole
pice is to be a rigid guide for the voice
coil support when people use the sub
over limits (All the time !). The complete cone can not go out of the gap
because of the guide in the center (ex
pole piece!). It is one of the best protection during SPL contests...
