Testing… Testing… Testing…
It is that time of the year again, FSAT & SAT Testing are upon
us. During the next five weeks, all of our students will be participating
in some form of Standardized testing. Kindergarten will be taking the
SESAT-2 in Reading and Math on April 4th & 5th. First and second
grades will be taking the 10th edition of the Stanford Achievement Test
(SAT-10) in Reading and Math on April 4th & 5th as well. Fourth and
fifth grades will be taking the FSA Reading Computer Based Test (CBT)
and 5th Grade will take the Math CBT. Fifth grade will also be taking
the FCAT Science on April 12th & 13th. It is important that all boys and
girls are in school every day, on time and prepared to learn. On testing
days, please make sure your child has a good night sleep followed by a
good breakfast.
We look forward to honoring our many, many students who
made the Honor Roll during the 3rd marking period. If your child is
being recognized, you will receive an invitation to this event. A special
“THANKS” to our wonderful PTA!

A Message from Ms. Gonzalez
On February 22nd, we held our Honor Roll Assembly for
the second marking period. Congratulations to the 262
students that were recognized for making the honor roll in
grades first through fifth. This number represents 37% of
our student population achieving Honor Roll status. Of
these students, 57 achieved the Principal’s Honor Roll by
earning all A1A’s on their report card.
We are counting down the days for the Florida

the Writing portion on March 29, 2016. The 3rd graders
will be taking the Reading Assessment on March 29th and
30th. The 3rd and 4th graders will be taking the Math Assessment on March 31st and April 1st. During the month
of April all our kindergarten through 5th grade students
will be participating in some form of formal assessment.
