Jonathan Tweet Game Author Jonathan Tweet has been bringing new ideas to roleplaying games since 1987, and he is in the Origins Gaming Hall of Fame. He authored or co-authored the RPGs Ars Magica (1987), Over the Edge (1992), Everway (1995), and D&D 3rd Ed. (2000). His latest game, written with Rob Heinsoo, is 13th Age (2103). It brings story-oriented rules to d20-style gaming. He and Rob are currently working on a supplement for 13th Age that brings the game to Glorantha, a richly detailed mythical game world. Jonathan values roleplaying games because they inspire players to create rather than consume. He is also self-publishing Grandmother Fish, the first book to teach evolution to preschoolers, and he blogs about atheism. He’s a fan of Burning Man and the historical Jesus. This adventure will develop out of the characters that the players create, with the GM and players improvising a story based on those characters. Probably a little twisted. Walk & Talk Sunday 11:00 am to 12:30 pm - GameFest Room 1 Stand and be counted with your people! Everyone stands in a group. The leader presents the group with either/or choices such as, “If you like pirates better than ninjas, move left. If you like ninjas better than pirates, move right.” Everybody gets to see how everyone else in the group answers each question. Opinionated people on either side can explain their choices. Periodically we stop and discuss, and then move on to new questions. The questions cover whatever topics would be appropriate to the event. Participants can also pose questions to the group.
