Message From Chairman
In the name of ALLAH most beneficent and merciful
am pleased to present first issue of Maymar Times for Maymar Community. Maymar Housing
Services (Pvt.) Limited have been in existence since 1973, i.e. nearly 40 years. It started with a small
engineering company but is now a leading developer and construction company of Pakistan.
Gulshan-e-Maymar is our landmark project catering to the housing needs of middle and upper middle
class families and is providing environment friendly atmosphere. It is our endeavour to bring positive
changes and latest technology for the Maymarians.

It is a part of our strategy that Maymar has changed the layout plan of Gulshan-e-Maymar with the
approval from Malir Development Authority (MDA) to provide affordable housing and amenities to the
public at large. In addition, over the next year Maymar plans to undertake new developments in Gulshane-Maymar, details of which are in subsequent pages.
I will be pleased to welcome any suggestions and ideas from all Maymarians and request you for
patronization of Maymar and Maymar.

Our home where we live like a family of maymarians. Therefore in order to make our maymarians more
aware about the future development and under progress projects for the betterment and beauty of our
township, we are pleased to present first issue of “MAYMAR TIMES”.
Being Chief Executive Officer of Maymar Housing Services Private Limited, I always dreamed to
established a medium through which maymarians can be get informed about the our plans for their
benefits, now it comes true.
I believe that you would appreciate our this step and also admire our upcoming projects and works for
Gulshan-e-Maymar. Our Upcoming projects or work can be viewed in subsequent pages.

Approval of GM-14
By the grace of Almighty Allah, We are pleased to inform you that Maymar Housing Services (Pvt.)
Limited have obtained approval of Revised Layout Plan of Gulshan-e- Maymar (GM-14) in Taiser Town,
Scheme-45, from Malir Development Authority (MDA). MDA have given approval of GM-14 in
accordance with Karachi Building Control Authority & Town Planning Regulation 2002 (amended up todate).
Layout plan of Gulshan-e-Maymar by the name of GM-14 was revised to provide more residential space for
the residents and division of commercial and school plots to make it affordable for the investors and public
at large. The total area of parks, roads, and basic amenities like schools, colleges, dispensaries, mosques and
others remain the same or slightly increased. Space for the study centre-cum-museum and auditorium is
also provided in the new layout plan.
Establishment of Maymar Maintenance (Pvt.) Limited
Maymar Housing Services (Pvt.) Limited (Maymar) have planned to segregate maintenance functions and
development functions separately. To carry out the maintenance activity a new company by the name of
Maymar Maintenance (Pvt.) Limited will be incorporated by the end of this month to carry out the
maintenance of Gulshan-e-Maymar and other projects. This company will be wholly owned subsidiary of
Maymar Housing Services (Pvt.) Limited. The Board of Directors will consist of Directors of Maymar and
representative and stakeholders of Gulshan-e-Maymar. The Company will have a professional Chief
Executive and staffs to provide efficient and customer friendly services. Maymar expects this company will
be fully operational within the month of September 2012.
New Development
The Management of Maymar Housing Services (Pvt.) Limited (Maymar) held a series of meetings with
stakeholders of Gulshan-e-Maymar to obtain opinion and suggestions to improve living standards by
providing secure and friendly environment in Gulshan-e-Maymar. After consultation the Management
decided to implement the following::
1. Gated Community:
Maymar decided to make Gulshan-e-Maymar a gated community like
other army schemes in city, i.e. Askari I, Askari II, Askari III and Askari
IV, Naval Housing Schemes and Malir Cantonment. The Management
will hire town planners and architects to design the scheme to make it
gated community. The target to implement the project is within three to
six months

2. Other Security Measures:
Maymar will fix cameras at all entrance and exit gates and selected
points within Gulshan-e-Maymar. The recording will be safe for future
reference.
Stickers will be issued to all residents’ cars and motor cycles. Counters
will be established for visitors on all entry points.
3.Construction of Stadium:
Maymar will undertake construction of one cricket stadium in Sector
‘X’ along with jogging tracks. In addition, coaching will be provided in
the evenings for the children of the residents.
4. Amusement Park:
Maymar plans to develop an amusement park in collaboration with
international players for the residents of Gulshan-e-Maymar only. In
addition, Cineplex and international food chains will be provided
space to open their outlets. Maymar have already entered into
agreements with a couple of food chains. This is expected to be
implemented in a year.
5. Library and Museum
Maymar also plans to construct a library/study centre and a museum
for the residents of Gulshan-e-Maymar to facilitate students in the
study at a peaceful place. A museum will be created to preserve arts,
paintings, books, artifacts and other archeological material of residents
and owners of property in Gulshan-e-Maymar.
6. Supermarket
Maymar plans to start construction of supermarket for the residents of
Maymar which will be offering products at cheaper rates then market
rates alongwith free home delivery to facilitate the residents of
Gulshan-e-Maymar. This will be expected to commence by First
Quarter of 2013.
