Board of Directors Elections
A number of seats on the Wisconsin Dells Visitor & Convention Bureau Board of Directors will be expiring at the end of this coming October in
the Accommodation, Attraction, Campground, Restaurant and Shopping Divisions.
The Board Nominating Committee will be meeting in August to discuss nominees. In addition, each division with seats expiring will meet for
nominations. Members interested in serving on the Board of Directors should contact Romy Snyder at [email protected].

Update Your Deals & Offers Today
The Wisconsin Dells Visitor & Convention Bureau is encouraging all members to review and/or create custom offers around the end of summer
and send them to be posted for free on the Bureau's site under the "Deals & Offers" section. Many families will still be looking to sneak in a
summer vacation before heading back to school and this section of the Bureau's site provides some great options. A link on the home page of
wisdells.com takes potential visitors directly to all of the member packages.

Once you connect with your customers, make sure you are engaging with them to build meaningful customer relationships. Here are some
additional strategies and tactics to interact and engage with your fans.
Involve your fans with new product ideas, testing & reviews to make your fans feel integral to your company’s success.
Feature your customers to make them feel special – fan of the month? Monthly fan pick feature?
Drive user-generated content with a photo, video or essay contest.
Make it personal – ask your fans for their personal story with your brand and use it in future marketing strategies.
Ask and you shall receive – ask your fans with fill-in-the-blanks and questions.

2014 Member Contracts and Vacation Guide Deadline September 11
In July of this year, all current Bureau members were sent a combined 2014 membership and Vacation Guide contract.
Please note that in order to qualify for your free Vacation Guide grid listing and for us to hold your ad reservation, you must return your
membership contract(s) and be current in your financial obligations by Wednesday, September 11, 2013.

Autumn Harvest Fest is October 19 & 20, 2013
Plus Dells On Tap Brews Up Fun On Saturday
The 16th Annual Wisconsin Dells Autumn Harvest Fest and Dells On Tap micro-brew tasting will be held on Saturday and
Sunday, October 19 & 20, 2013.
Autumn Harvest Fest, which takes place on La Crosse Street in the heart of downtown Wisconsin Dells, has everything you'd
want in a good two-day fall get-together - Arts & Crafts Marketplace, homemade goodies, scarecrow stuffing contest,
pumpkin decorating, kids' craft corner and lots of great live entertainment.
For the grown-ups, Dells On Tap features a variety of regional micro-brewers with special offerings. Again this year, 250 VIP
admissions will receive exclusive access to the Dells On Tap brewers and tastings from noon until 1 p.m. For more information

Revolution3 Triathlon
On August 11, 2013 Revolution3 will hold Olympic and Half Distance races in Wisconsin Dells. The swim portion of the race will
take place in Lake Delton, accessing the lake at the Tommy Bartlett Show grounds. Noah’s Ark will once again serve as the
expo grounds and finish line. The run route has changed from the 2012 event and will no longer go through downtown
Wisconsin Dells. Revolution3 has worked closely with the local police departments and municipalities in developing the new
course. Revolution3 anticipates 1,000 athletes will compete in the event.
