Tales From Gypsy Road was originally released on video in 1990 and contains the bands greatest hits.
The original band members make this production into an interesting documentary, visiting, and showing
the viewer around many of the clubs the band played in their early days with anecdotes and memories
from all members. They also describe the locations, trials and traumas of early video shoots and tours.
Both videos and live sets from The Shoreline Amphitheatre, San Francisco are featured. Cinderella was
founded in Philadelphia in 1983 by singer/songwriter Tom Keifer and bassist Eric Brittingham, who
quickly added lead guitarist Jeff LaBar. Insisting on playing original material, they performed in clubs
and bars in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and in 1985 Jon Bon Jovi caught one of their shows. He was
sufficiently impressed to alert his record company, Mercury, which signed the band.

classic live shows: One from a 1976 US tour (Capitol Theatre - Passiac, NJ), and another show from 1979 (Convention
Hall - Asbury Park, NJ). Renaissance were originally formed in the late 1960 s by ex-Yardbirds members Keith Relf,
and Jim McCarty but both eventually departed leaving the classic line-up of Annie Haslam (Vocals), John Tout (piano),
Jon Camp (bass pedals/Vocals) and Terence Sullivan (drums). The later line-up were responsible for the groups most
recognized albums Prologue (1972), Ashes Are Burning (1973) and Turn Of The Cards (1975) and Scheherezade and
Other Stories (1976) which gained the group a significant fanbase in the US and led to hits in many other countries
including UK top ten single Northern Lights.

Azteca were a Latin rock band with two killer albums in the early
’70s. This CD captures their first show in over 30 years, a reunion
show from 2007.
One of the more unusual reunions of a 1970’s music act happened on September 15th 2007 at the
Hollywood Key Club - legendary Latin Rock Fusion act Azteca appeared for the first time in more than
30 years. Created and arranged by documentary producer Daniel E. Mesa, the concert reunited original
members Pete Escovedo, vocalists Wendy Haas and Errol Knowles, bassist Paul Jackson, guitarist Bill
Courtial, percussionist Victor Pantoja, trombonist Jules Rowell and former Miles Davis and Chick Corea
drummer Lenny White. Azteca was a short-lived Latin Jazz Fusion supergroup that did two records for
Columbia in the early 1970’s. Founded by the late Coke Escovedo and Pete Escovedo after their departure
from Latin rock superband Santana, Azteca was the first band to employ a large ensemble of horns,
woodwinds, keyboards, latin percussion, and other instruments (up to 25 members in live performance)
to create a hybrid of latin, jazz and fusion music featuring high-level accomplished musicians from various
musical backgrounds.

The Meatmen’s 3rd album, originally released in 1986, is a blast of
juvenile delinquent humor backed with some damn good hard rock.

hit in 1992 and still sounds amazing. Includes bonus tracks.
The Meatmen’s 3rd album, originally released in 1986, is a blast of juvenile delinquent humor backed
with some damn good punk/hard rock. While they may have been parodying the hair metal hard rock
of the eighties, they wound up doing that whole scene one better. Killer jams from Tesco Vee and
crew (including members of Minor Threat and Negative Approach) that tweak and twist all the right
sensibilities, lampooning hair metal, vegetarians, the French and more; as well as a very righteous
car song, “Turbo Rock.” Hell, this stands up way better than most of the stuff they were goofing on
back then. Augmented with some live bonus tracks.
After the Meatmen broke up, lead Meat Tesco Vee formed this little group featuring members of
Washington DC’s Black Market Baby. They released a bunch of rare 7” records and one album,
Gonzo Hate Vibe, a rollercoaster ride of tongue in cheek humor, sacrilegious screeds and blazing
punk metal, all held together by the indomitable Mr. Vee. This CD reissue features the full 1992 album
as well as some rare bonus tracks, including covers of the Germs’ “Manimal” and REM’s “Losing
My Religion.” Get your hate on!

This vinyl release contains four versions of the song “Watch Us Work It”: Teddy Bears
Version, Original Devo Demo Version, Karaoke Version, and “Still Workin’” Version. It
was recorded at Mutato Muzika in Los Angeles and produced by Sweden’s famous
Teddy Bears. The DELL company heard it when Paul Malmstrom and Linus Karlsson
at the Mother agency in NYC pitched it as a possibility for a TV campaign for the newly
developed, high-end laptop computer. DELL loved it, so they used it for nationwide TV ad
campaign. The vinyl also includes “Devo Was Right About Everything” by Attery Squash
(re-mix by Robert and Gerald Casale).

One of the more unusual reunions of a 1970’s music act happened on September 15th 2007 at the Hollywood
Key Club - legendary Latin Rock Fusion act Azteca appeared for the first time in more than 30 years. Created
and arranged by documentary producer Daniel E. Mesa, the concert reunited original members Pete Escovedo,
vocalists Wendy Haas and Errol Knowles, bassist Paul Jackson, guitarist Bill Courtial, percussionist Victor
Pantoja, trombonist Jules Rowell and former Miles Davis and Chick Corea drummer Lenny White. Azteca was a
short-lived Latin Jazz Fusion supergroup that did two records for Columbia in the early 1970’s. Founded by the
late Coke Escovedo and Pete Escovedo after their departure from Latin rock superband Santana, Azteca was the
first band to employ a large ensemble of horns, woodwinds, keyboards, latin percussion, and other instruments
(up to 25 members in live performance) to create a hybrid of latin, jazz and fusion music featuring high-level
accomplished musicians from various musical backgrounds.

1969 all of which are still in the German television archives. The shows were eclectic affairs and included
performances by artists as diverse as Eric Burdon and the New Animals, The Move, Sam and Dave, Cat Stevens
and Barry Ryan to name just a few. This first compilation is an eclectic one featuring Casey Jones and The
Governors, Cat Stevens, Easybeats, Hermans Hermits, Chris Farlowe, Barry Ryan, Brian Auger and the Trinity
Ft. Julie Driscoll. Hits include two number one hit singles, Chris Farlowe with Out Of Time and Eloise from Barry

This volume in the Beat Beat Beat series of releases is another eclectic collection including performances
from PJ Proby, P.P. Arnold, The Mindbenders and The Creation. The Mindbenders minus Wayne Fontana
perform A Groovy Kind Of Love and a version of Land of A Thousand Dancers. We also have Texas
Wildman P.J. Proby performing What’s Wrong With My World and P.P. Arnold performing the Cat Stevens
written First Cut Is The Deepest. Finally we have The Creation running through three tracks including their
massive European hit Painter Man.
Eric Burdon: Beyond The Animals
An excellent primer covering the career of Eric Burdon.
Eric Burdon will always be associated with the British R n B band The Animals. Coming out of Newcastle in the early sixties the band burst
onto the music scene with an incredible version of The House Of The Rising Sun. The song reached number one all over the world and the
band embarked on three years of intensive touring and recording which would include the hit songs We Gotta Get Out Of This Place, It’s My
Life and Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood. Of all the bands that broke through in the sixties it was the Animals who were considered to be the
true purveyors of authentic R n B and the main reason for that was Eric Burdon’s voice. After the original British Invasion subsided in America
the original Animals broke up and Burdon, inspired by what he had seen on the West Coast of America formed The New Animals a band which
had a more psychedelic vision. The band whilst being a million miles removed from the R n B of the original band were very successful and
more hits such as San Franciscan Nights, Sky Pilot and When I Was Young followed. By the time the seventies dawned Eric had joined up with
the band War and with them recorded three albums as Eric Burdon and War. Eric Burdon continued through the seventies and eighties with
a succession of bands in support of a solo career and even re formed the Animals on a number of occasions. At the time of this film he was
working with another veteran of the British R N B scene Brian Auger. This film is an excellent primer covering the career of Eric Burdon and
contains a number of interviews with some of the musicians who worked with him over the years including former members of the Animals
(John Steel and Hilton Valentine) and the New Animals (Zoot Money) There are also interviews with Eric Burdon himself and Brian Auger who
were working together in a band at the time. The film also includes clips from Eric Burdon’s career which takes in rare clips from the Animals,
The New Animals and Eric Burdon and War.
Eric Burdon and The New Animals/Episode Six: Beat, Beat, Beat
Rarely seen footage from ‘66! Five tracks including a cover of the song Morning
Dew made famous by Tim Rose.
This disc in the series of Beat Beat Beat releases features just one band. Eric Burdon and The New
Animals. Eric Burdon had achieved massive worldwide success with the original Animals in 1964. By
1967 the original band had split and Eric influenced by the new sounds coming out of America’s West
Coast formed the New Animals which were more psychedelically inclined. The band performs five tracks
including a cover of the song Morning Dew made famous by Tim Rose. Other songs include Trumpets
Blow See See Rider and a harking back to the style of the older Animals with the John D Loudermilk song
Tobacco Road and Road Runner. Rarely seen before this footage is not only historical but an amazing
document of the times.
Cinderella: Tales From The Gypsy Road
Tour film featuring the original band members talking about and showing the clubs they
played in their early days. Includes sets from The Shoreline Amphitheatre, San Francisco.
Tales From Gypsy Road was originally released on video in 1990 and contains the bands greatest hits.
The original band members make this production into an interesting documentary, visiting, and showing
the viewer around many of the clubs the band played in their early days with anecdotes and memories
from all members. They also describe the locations, trials and traumas of early video shoots and tours.
Both videos and live sets from The Shoreline Amphitheatre, San Francisco are featured. Cinderella was
founded in Philadelphia in 1983 by singer/songwriter Tom Keifer and bassist Eric Brittingham, who
quickly added lead guitarist Jeff LaBar. Insisting on playing original material, they performed in clubs
and bars in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and in 1985 Jon Bon Jovi caught one of their shows. He was
sufficiently impressed to alert his record company, Mercury, which signed the band.

Azteca was a short-lived Latin Jazz Fusion group that did two records for Columbia in the early 1970’s.
Founded by the late Coke Escovedo and Pete Escovedo after their departure from Santana, Azteca was
the first band to employ a large ensemble of horns, woodwinds, keyboards, percussion, and other
instruments to create a hybrid of Latin, jazz and fusion music. Azteca appeared for the first time in more
than 30 years, performing a reunion show in 2007. Created and arranged by documentary producer
Daniel E. Mesa, the concert reunited original members Pete Escovedo, vocalists Wendy Haas and Errol
Knowles, bassist Paul Jackson, guitarist Bill Courtial, percussionist Victor Pantoja, trombonist Jules

Forgas Band Phenomena: L’axe Du Fou: Axis Of Madness
Drummer & composer Patrick Forgas spent nearly a decade learning his craft among the many French rock,
psychedelic and blues bands of the 1970’s. In 1977 he recorded and released his first album Cocktail, with a
cast of musicians which read like a who’s who of the French progressive scene at the time, including former and
future members of Magma and Zao. With the demise of his record label, Patrick’s band broke up and he retired
from active work in music. In 1993, he formed the original version of his Forgas Band Phenomena. Playing a
composed and well-orchestrated jazz-rock, they recorded two excellent albums for a tiny French label in the
late 1990’s. In 2005 Cuneiform released Soleil 12 (CN20218), their third album, but their first to be distributed
outside of France, to terrific reviews and good radio play. Since that time they have played shows in France and
abroad (most recently in Seoul, South Korea in October, 2008), doing everything that they can to have their
exciting music heard on a wider basis. His current band is a instrumental 7-piece ensemble of skillful young
musicians on saxes and flute, trumpet and flugelhorn, violin, guitar, keyboards, bass and drums.

Destroying walls between art-rock, avant-squonk, jazz-core and beyond, the decade-old New York quartet Gutbucket
is not only equally comfortable playing in front of 900 sweatily pogo-ing teenage skate-punks, a crowd of cosmic
indie-psych freaks, or on an anarchist German art collective’s houseboat, but most importantly, their music fits right in.
Called “stomprovisors” by the Village Voice, the band has spent the past 10 years injecting a shot of exuberance into
the minimalist cool of the New York downtown scene. The group attacks their music with the ferocity usually reserved
for punk, and the humorous abstraction of art-rock, despite having earned their jazz bona fides. Founded by bassist Eric
Rockwin, saxophonist Ken Thomson, guitarist Ty Citerman, and drummer Paul Chuffo, Gutbucket built their all-important
live rep in New York clubs before spreading across east coast college towns like a hoard of freethinking barbarians. Trips
to Europe soon followed, with over a dozen tours in 19 countries. “They think we’re jazz over there,” Ty says of the trips.

Re-release of the debut full-length album from 1997 by the legendary desert rock/
psychedelic rock band.
Re-release of the self-titled debut album by the legendary instrumental desert rock/psychedelic rock band Karma To Burn. This eponymous album was released in 1997 on Roadrunner Records. Some early reports
on Karma To Burn stated that the band had “vocalist problems”. The truth of the matter is the band is at
heart an instrumental band. The band had experimented with vocalists before (ex-Kyuss frontman John
Garcia briefly worked with them), but a vocalist (Jason Jarosz) was recruited for their debut only to satisfy
their record label. The vocalist departed soon afterwards, and the band reverted to its preferred status as
an instrumental trio, as well as to their convention of naming every song simply as a number, which they
did on their last two albums. The re-issue of “Karma To Burn” includes 5 live tracks as a bonus. Digitally

SBB: Roskilde ‘78
Re-release of the album by one of the most important bands in progressive rock/
jazz music featuring material recorded live at the famous Danish festival.
Re-release of the album “Roskilde ‘78” which was previously available only inside the box “Lost Tapes, Vol.1” from 2005. It features the material recorded
live at Danish famous festival in Roskilde. And that time the band played material from the album “Follow My Dream” mostly, sometimes adding “Ze słowem
biegnę do ciebie”. Quite often they opened their show with very dynamic “Walkin’ Around The Stormy Bay”, played with two drum sets. The band appeared
both at small clubs and at huge festivals. Definitely one of their most important shows was played at Roskilde festival. It was the first time that the band
from Poland performed at this festival. In 1978 Roskilde was headlined by Elvis Costello and Bob Marley. SBB concert was scheduled right after Marley’s,
at the main orange stage. However, the band had to overcome several “technical” problems to play that concert... During the load-out after Marley’s show,
his crew almost collected Józef’s Polymoog, because its case was exactly the same as theirs. They were immensely surprised that someone from Europe
already used Polymoog, moreover, that the band came from Poland and that they were to play after Bob Marley. SBB’s festival performances were usually
a bit shorter and more compact than their club shows. So was their Roskilde concert. This time, “Going Away” suite was shortened. The rest of the set list
was quite similar to their standard show, and the concert ended with “Follow My Dream” and “Wiosenne chimery” played on two drums and synthesizers.
The audience gave a very warm welcome to the band from Poland. The musicians remember that in the very beginning of their show people started to move
towards their tents, after all the festival’s headliner had just finished his show. However, after “Walkin’...” they came back and stayed till the end of the show.

A founding member of the original “Rock In Opposition” [R.I.O.] movement, & considered to be one of the greatest
avant-garde rock band of the last 30 years, Belgium’s Univers Zero are are rightly famous for their perfect balance
between classical and rock influences. They were originally founded in 1974. During their first lifetime, they released
Univers Zero (1977), Heresie (1979), Ceux Du Dehors (1981), Crawling Wind, (1983), UZED (1984) and Heatwave
(1986) until their breakup in 1987. After 2 solo albums, leader Daniel Denis reformed the band in 1997. In 1999, the
band released The Hard Quest, their first album in 13 years. Rhythmix followed in 2002 and Implosion was released in
2004. Since mid-2004, the band has been touring regularly for the first time since 1986 and were one of the headliners
of the sold-out US festival NEARFest 2004. They performed at the FMPM Festival in Montreal this last September and
they continue to tour in Europe. In 2006 they released their 10th album and their first-ever live recording, Live. The band
is busier than ever, releasing two albums in 2009; the archival Relaps and their hugely anticipated new studio effort,
Clivage, in September.

First Impersonator follows a George W. Bush look-alike through the 2004 Presidential race while documenting the life and career of
famed JFK impersonator Vaughn Meader. 2004 LOOKALIKES: In 1999, Brent Mendenhall found himself looking like a Presidential candidate. The Governor of Texas threw his hat into the Presidential ring and began receiving national media attention. Friends and relatives
began telling Mendenhall that they kept seeing this doppelganger on the nightly news. As it became apparent that the Texan double would
win the Republican nomination, Brent decided to take action. By February of 2004, Brent had become used to his new occupation as a
professional Presidential impersonator. He had turned a fluke resemblance with George W. Bush into a well-paying career on the

corporate speaking circuit. With no comedic training (Brent worked in construction prior to becoming a looklalike), he was able to craft

Looming on the horizon, however, is the threat of the 2004 Presidential Election and the possibility that he may find himself very quickly
out of demand. The 2004 Presidential Election Race is the most important of Brent’s life. His fate is determined by the fate of George W.
Bush. Unlike those who can change their character with the times, Brent is physically tied to Bush. By 2005, Brent could be job hunting.
But there is still plenty of work, and Brent has to make the most out of the next ten months. Along the way, First Impersonator follows
Brent across the country as he capitalizes on the increased election year demand for political look-alikes. He travels to a look-alike
convention in Hollywood, the Log Cabin Republicans’ National Convention in Palm Springs, commercial shoots, sporting events, and the
bread-and-butter of his business, corporate speaking engagements. We also observe Brent on election night of 2004, the night his career
is on the line, at an Election Night Party in George and Barbara Bush’s neighborhood in Houston. First Impersonator also details Brent’s
mentorship by a Bill Clinton impersonator, his 2000 rivalry with an Al Gore, a Saddam Hussein cut out of a Madonna video because of the
Iraq War and a Hillary Clinton excited about her prospects in 2008.

The silo had been remodeled to have two floors and the performances were upstairs. The
audience entered from an exterior stairway. The helpers at the venue cleared a space in the
audience and pulled a rug aside, revealing a trap door which they lifted and the musicians
emerged like vampires from a crypt. For the first set, Jandek sang and played a black solid
body electric guitar, backed by Matt Heyner on electric bass and Chris Corsano on drumkit.
For the second set, Heyner switched to double bass. Jandek switched to an unusual guitar, a hollow body fretless
acoustic/electric guitar with a blond wood face.

went on to form SNAFU with Micky Moody. Roger Saunders joined Medicine Head then spent
most of the 80’s as a member of Gary Glitter’s Band. Freedom never quite made it to the first
division of British rock. Not because of lack of ability, just sheer lack of luck.
