Prayer Program
• Daily Prayers at South Musallah led by Mussaleens
• Friday Prayers – Held at Mackenzie Towne Hall with two
Salahs accommodating around 600 people supported
by assigned Imams and Volunteers
• Ramadan Taraweeh and Two Qiyam-ul-Lay’l Program
• Established new Eid Prayer program for Eid-ul-Fit’r and
Eid-ul-Adha at Shepard Community Hall
Quran School, Educational Programs and Halaqas
• Calgary Quran School established since last 8 years,
accommodating 140 students on Saturday (weekend)
• Quran School – For Adult Sisters on weekend
• Quran School ICNA on Sundays (weekend)
• Youth Night – Every Friday
• Family Potluck – Every month on 1st Saturday
• Halaqas – Monthly once or twice
Workshop and Special Programs
• Ramadan, Hajj, Zakat, Inheritance, etc.
• Special Events – Siraathus Saaliheen for children
• Supporting activities: Charity Food Drives, Clothing and,
WeCare Charity drive, Calgary Food Bank drive, etc.
• Eid-ul-Fit’r Fest Breakfast – Al-Hamdulillah very
successful community engagement event at
Queensland Community attended by 500 people with
visit to South Musallah and information about our
activities and Islam
Workshops, Special Programs and Engagement
• Emergency Aid – Fort McMurray Fire evacuees shelter
and support
• Syrian Refugees support, Welcome Centre support
• Flood Reliefs , global aids via We Care, ICNA, MFNS, etc.
• Ramadan Special every weekend Iftar and with Qiyamul-Lay’l Sahoor programs attended by 450~500 people
• Supporting our Youth and supporting organizations like

City Approval for Issuance of Development Permit!
• After 3 years of hard work Calgary Planning Committee
voted unanimously on 25th of August to make this key
milestone reality
• This allows us to address next requirements of the City,
satisfy some conditions of permit, work on building
detail construction drawings, updated cost estimate
and schedule leading to application for Building
Construction Permit.
• Insha-Allah we will be issuing more communication in
coming weeks and months.
