David H. Brandt graduated from law school in
1993 and joined a private law firm. After
working in two different law firms between 1993
and 1996, David was appointed Deputy City
Attorney in the City of Alameda. In 2000 he
was elevated to Assistant City Attorney. David
left Alameda in 2009 to become the City
Manager in Redmond, Oregon. He served
there until 2012 when he returned to California
to accept the appointment to the Cupertino
City Manager position, where he continues to
serve. David earned a BA from UCLA, and MUP
from the University of Michigan and a JD from
the University of Wisconsin, Madison. In 2013 he

Manager in Clayton in 2001, where he
continues to work. Gary earned a BA from

recipient of a 35-year ICMA Service Award.

Carolynn was selected to serve as Deputy City
Manager in 1998 and filled in for a time as
Acting City Manager during the past year

1996. Rosemead City Manager Jeff Allred served as
the Assistant City Manager in La Verne between
November, 1987 and November, 2000 when he was
appointed City Manager in the City of Norco. Jeff
moved from Norco in June, 2009 when he was
selected to be the Rosemead City Manager. Jeff

Willits staff in 2009 as City Clerk following the
retirement of former City Clerk Marylyn Harden.
Previous to then Adrienne served as the Senior
Deputy Clerk for the Mendocino County Board of
Supervisors. In January, 2013 Adrienne was selected
to serve as the Interim City Manager in Willits
following the dismissal of former City Manager Paul
Cayler, who had served as Willits City Manager
since 2008. Former City of Rosemead Management
Intern Allison Lew, who served with the City in 2012,
is currently working as a Business Development
Coordinator for the Mayor's Office of Economic
Development in Provo City, Utah. Allison earned a
BA and MPA from Brigham Young University. She is

Assistant to the City Manager Tina Gallejos served
as an Assistant Planner in the City of Union City
between August, 2003 and August, 2005. She joined

Bierman, 66, died in early August having battled
with cancer in recent years. Mike was an Ohio

as the City Manager in Columbia, South Carolina.
