Why bring your dog
to Woolacombe Bay?
As dog owners ourselves, we understand dog owners and part of
the reason we live in Woolacombe is it’s great for dogs (or is it
part of the reason we have dogs is Woolacombe is great for
them?) either way here’s a taste of what we can offer you and
your best friend.
We welcome dogs on all of our Holiday Parks. Golden Coast,
Woolacombe Bay, Twitchen House and Easewell Farm.
Which Park to choose... well, they are all great!
Golden Coast
Situated at the head of a picturesque valley, the Park is a resort
within itself. Sit and relax watching the world go by outside our
very own pub The Old Mill. The 17th Century Inn is just the place
to enjoy al fresco dining on the heated patio. After a quiet drink or
a delicious dinner take a stroll down to our Doggy Walk area to
stretch yours and your furry friends legs!
This Park is situated just 5 minutes drive from Woolacombe’s
lively village centre and fabulous beach. Give your dog a good
run on 3 miles of sandy beach or enjoy some of the delights the
local dog friendly Cafes, Bars and Restaurants have to offer.
Don’t fancy driving and parking?...
Buy a bus ticket from site and use our bus service to run the family and your pet down to the beach and between all 4 Parks!
Woolacombe Bay
South facing with stunning views across the Bay, Lundy Island
and the magnificent Atlantic Ocean and her many moods. Almost
200 metres above sea level with nothing between us and North
America, this Park is breathtaking whether in the midst of a Spring
or Autumn gale or basking in the still heat of midsummer with
nothing but the sound of Skylarks.
There are walks to suit all tastes with 3 footpaths leading to and
from the Park surrounded by miles of spectacular National Trust
parkland, quaint villages and dramatic coastline. Boundaries
don’t exist here so you can walk to your heart’s content or take
a short stroll to the beach only 15 minutes away! The Park has
glorious views over the valley and its own 11 acre exercise area
full of young trees and rabbits...that’s doggy entertainment!
