LIVE PERFORMANCE CONSOLE • • • • • • • 24, 32, 40 and 48 Input frames with 4 stereo inputs 8 subgroups 10 Aux busses 8 VCA Groups 6 Mute Groups 11x4 Matrix Integral PSU Performance meets affordability As contractors and venues demand maximum return on investment, dual-purpose FOH and Monitors flexibility is now essential in a live sound console. The MH2, the third desk in Soundcraft’s acclaimed MH Series, delivers all the critical mixing features of its siblings in a smaller footprint fixed frame format, achieving a performance/price ratio unheard of in any other console in its class. Group or Aux fader operation is selected at the touch of a button for familiar and uncomplicated operation. Soundcraft sound quality is guaranteed with the same mic preamp design used in the MH4 and MH3, classic British EQ and meticulous circuit design. And with important new features like separate line inputs on every channel, the argument for mixing with MH2 is compelling. Four frame sizes are available, all with four stereo inputs as standard and an integrated switched mode PSU which can be removed for easy maintenance. Naturally, a rear-panel connector is provided to fit an external power supply for complete dual-redundancy assurance. Mono inputs feature a wide range mic pre-amp, 4-band swept EQ with swept high-pass filter, 10 aux bus controls, paired group routing, LCR panning and a 12-segment LED input meter alongside a smooth 100mm ‘Alps K’ fader. Stereo channels feature a similar preamp with a fixed high-pass filter and 4-band EQ, together with the same aux structure as the mono input. The Master section features an 11x4 matrix, 4 stereo returns with 3-band EQ, 4-band stereo EQ on Aux outputs 9/10, and the ability to use the C fader to control the monitor (listen wedge) output. The MH2 is probably the most comprehensively-featured VCA-based console in its price range.
