Velocity Series Sling Packs
Tamrac’s Velocity Series has a unique design that allows them to be
carried comfortably like backpacks, but they don’t need to be removed to
quickly access photo equipment. The well-padded sling strap
comfortably distributes the weight and allows the pack to be swung
around to the front, where a secure zippered top opens away from the body
for fast, convenient access to camera gear. Inside the main compartment,
the camera with lens attached is supported on two vertical, foam-padded
dividers. The Velocity 7z and 8z have an interior pocket that holds an iPad.
Tuck-A-Way™ waist belts on the sling packs (except the Velocity 6z)
help steady the packs while hiking or biking. The front pockets have
organizer pockets inside to keep a mobile phone, MP3 player or
other photo accessories within reach. They also feature
Tamrac’s patented Memory & Battery Management
System™ that uses red flags to identify available
memory cards and batteries from ones that are used
up. A smooth nylon pocket inside the lids stores
filters and lens caps. These sling packs are also
customizable with Tamrac’s optional Modular
Accessory System™ components.
