From your deckchair on the sundeck you can
absorb Europe as if seated in your own box at
the opera…. differing riverside scenery, towns

Working very closely with the famous De Hoop Dutch shipyard, we have set new standards for
high grade river cruising with our “Amadeus“- vessels and offer our passengers:
•Outstanding comfort in an atmosphere of classic elegance
• The highest possible degree of safety, and
• The taking into account of ecological principles and measures as we ply through Europe’s lovely riverside
landscapes in a considerate and protective way. We are particularly proud to be the only riverboat owners to have received the ecological “Green Certificate” stamp of quality for our “Amadeus-Class“.
The cabins on all “Amadeus“- vessels are all outside facing and, without exception, spacious and magnificently
equipped. You have a choice between 161 Sq.ft. and 323 Sq.ft. cabins. A large proportion of them have a glass
front with glass doors that stretch most of the way across the width of the cabins (allowing them to be described
as having French balconies). Each cabin also has air-conditioning (which you can adjust yourself), shower/WC
(the Amadeus-Suites have bath/WC), a minibar, a modern TV system, a telephone and a desk.
Passengers on our vessels find all the comforts that could be expected in a ‘floating’ 5-star hotel for
relaxation: Please look through the following pages and read about the many on-board facilities that will ensure
that your cruise is a special experience as well as a comfortable and elegant journey.
Our “Amadeus-Fleet” offers exclusively river cruises on Europe’s most important and loveliest waterways: on
Dutch and Belgian Waterways, Rhine, Main and Danube. Our schedules are carefully planned with the cruises
often supplemented by programmes of special land excursions.
To live up to our claim to be applying high ecological standards all our “Amadeus“- vessels are “smoke free”
zones, but of course smoking is still allowed in all the open areas such as on the Sundeck and the Panorama-Deck.
Green Certifications is an independent and non-bias certification body.
Certification standards are based on documentations provided by the
United Nations, European Union as well as International Standard
Organization (ISO 9001 / 14001). It is the goal of the company to identify,
monitor and improve all aspects of environmental sustainability on an
ongoing basis, to ensure that all operational, legislative and regulatory require­
ments are met, and to preserve natural resources along the European Rivers.

As an special service on some vessels of the Amadeus-Class we are offering
our passengers Quietvox. Quietvox is the up-to-date audio system we can
make available for passengers on all shore excursions. With Quietvox,
participants carry an earpiece and a lightweight wireless transmitter around
the neck which picks up the guide‘s microphone. All participants can hear
everything – everyone can enjoy the excursions and important information
don’t go lost.
