Anthony Halliday
Anthony Halliday has
given organ recitals and
concerto performances
throughout Europe
and Australia, and
his playing has won
critical praise from
several internationally
renowned conductors. A
Churchill Fellow, he studied at the Royal College of
Music London and the University of London. His
recent CDs of organ music include works by Bach,
Duruflé and his own compositions.
Daniela Benori
Daniela Benori is
a graduate of the
Benedetto Marcello
Conservatory of Music
and the University Ca
Foscari, Venice. She has
performed in the great
concert halls of Italy and
has released eight CDs.
She sings with the Collegium Musicum Venezia,
an ensemble specialising in Venetian Baroque
repertory.
Sergio
de Pieri
Artistic Director
Sergio de Pieri is a graduate of the Benedetto
Marcello Conservatory of Music. He migrated
to Australia in 1961. After establishing the
Melbourne Organ and Harpsichord Festival, he
returned to Italy to take on the roles of Chair of
Organ at the Venice Conservatorium and organist
at the basilica of Santa Maria dei Frari. He shares
his time between Venice and Australia, where he is
the artistic director of the Organs of the Ballarat
Goldfields Festival. He combines his love of music
with a love of cooking.
Raffaella Benori
Raffaella Benori started
her musical studies with
the piano before going
on to study singing at
the Benedetto Marcello
Conservatory of Music.
She has performed as
a soloist in some of the
most prestigious concert
halls of Europe, and her CDs (three with Sergio de
Pieri) are highly regarded. She too is a member of
the Collegium Musicum Venezia.

A passionate chamber
musician, Josephine has
studied and performed
in Europe and also
performed in Canada,
the Caribbean, China and
Japan. In Australia she is
regularly heard on ABC
FM, teaches cello and
chamber music at universities and performs with
the Firebird Trio. She plays on a lovely old Thomas
Kennedy cello, 1850.
Erica Kennedy
Erica Kennedy’s musical
abilities span many styles
from classical to rock,
Irish folk to pop. Sister to
world-famous Nigel, she
is currently working on
her Doctorate in Musical
Performance. She is the
first violinist with highly
acclaimed Flinders Quartet, has won numerous
awards, recorded for national television and radio
and performed with various Australian orchestras.
Massimo Scattolin
Massimo Scattolin began
his concert career as a
soloist, and has since
developed his chamber
music and orchestral
activities to include
some of the best-known
concertos for guitar
and orchestra. He has
performed in Europe, Asia, Australia, China and the
United States, and has recording released both as a
soloist and in collaboration with other musicians,
including Erica Kennedy and the famous group
from Cuba, Grupo Compay Segundo—the Buena
Vista Social Club.
