Installation of ProNovia Basic Library
This manual describes the first installation of ProNovia Basic Library on a SAP system.
Further installations of ProNovia Basic Library as well the installation of other ProNovia products can
afterwards be made using ProNovia's central product management and is described in detail in the
ProNovia UTI Customizing manual.
2.1
Introduction
For the installation of ProNovia Basic Library, one or several transport orders will be delivered as ZIP-files.
In this description the syntax R<trspnr>.TPD, or. K<trspnr>.TPD is used for the file name of the SAP
transport. Place holder <trspnr> must be replaced by the correct number of the transport order. The
number of the transport or in the Sap system is TPDK<trspnr>.
For example, files can be named "R900149.TPD" and "K900149.TPD", however the corresponding
order number in the SAP system is TPDK900149.
Instead of TPD another file extension may be used. Depending the ProNovia source system, where the
package was built. For further information please refer to the product download page.
In the examples about the import steps, the training system TPE will be used. Therefore TPE must
always be replaced by the import system ID.
2.2
Preparations
Files, which are required for the import, must be stored in the following directories of the SAP ERP systems:
R<trspnr>.TPD
This file must be moved to the data directory of the transport system.

\data\
K<trspn>r.TPD
This file must be moved to the cofiles directory of the transport system.
Example: Unix System /usr/sap/trans/cofiles or Windows F:\usr\sap\trans
