RODNEY BAY VILLAGE
GROS ISLET – ‘JUMP UP’
When the sun goes down on Saint Lucia,
it’s time for liming. That’s the local expression
for just hanging out – ideally with a bottle of
the local Piton beer or a refreshing rum punch.
The liveliest nightlife on island can be found in
the Rodney Bay Village. Here, your clients may
wish to start the evening with a cocktail
at a fantastic beach bar, before heading over
to the ‘strip’ where they will find many bars
and clubs. If they are feeling lucky they can
round the night off at the roulette and poker
tables, or on the slot machines at the Treasure
Bay Casino (www.treasurebaystlucia.com).
Food lovers will have their taste buds tantalised
with an array of fantastic cuisine from a selection
of great restaurants on island. Many of these
eateries are located in Rodney Bay Village
including; fine dining, seafood restaurants,
steakhouses, Caribbean food, Asian restaurants
and fast food outlets.
A lively street party in Gros Islet with music,
Caribbean food and dancing. The perfect
way to experience local island vibes,
every Friday night.
www.saintluciaexpert.com
ANSE LA RAYE – FISH FRIDAY
A seafood lover’s dream featuring the
fisherman’s catch of the day cooked
in sauces that are well-kept local secret
recipes. Caribbean music, scents
and colours are the order of the day.
DENNERY SEAFOOD FIESTA
Fresh beats and even fresher fish are on offer
every Saturday in the usually serene village
of Dennery, where a diverse selection
of seafood stalls line the streets and local
music, such as Soca and Zouk fills the air.
TWIN CENTRE
HOLIDAYS
Saint Lucia is the small Caribbean island that is big on personality
and choice, with very different experiences for your clients
in the north and south.
In the north, Saint Lucia is the picture of paradise with golden
sandy beaches, vibrant nightlife and world-class restaurants.
Pigeon Island gives visitors a look into the past with relics
from Saint Lucia’s rich colonial heritage, and the island’s capital
Castries is a must with local markets for amazing food and
traditional crafts.
Saint Lucia’s south is a land of drama and adventure, where the
sea laps silver volcanic sands, the spectacular Piton Mountains,
a UNESCO World Heritage site, as well as lush green rainforests
are just waiting to be explored. Even more incredible memories
can be made in the Caribbean’s only drive-in volcano or in the
rejuvenating mud baths at the Sulphur Springs.
Make your clients’ experience twice as special by booking them
a twin centre stay.
