Since the first Cattle Baron’s Ball in 1992,
this work of love and generosity has
grown to become Central Texas’ largest
fundraiser. Donations from big hearted
Texans like you have totaled over $5.6
million dollars for our area.
And our tradition continues. This year,
a portion of the funds will go to Central
Texas Cancer Researchers. Your gifts
make it possible to achieve the mission
of helping others who are or have been
afflicted by cancer. Our free
community programs serve 7 counties
and helps thousands of patients and
their families.

honored our youngest pediatric cancer patients and
their families. Everyone enjoyed a fun day with
inflatables, games, painting music, food and more.
Our 1st annual run/walk is set in the
countryside at Camp Hope .
Camp Hope is a beautiful and unique setting on hundreds of acres along the serene
Bosque River. Our runners and walkers enjoyed a great trail run alongside the lovely
pecan trees nestled by the river. This fun event raised awareness of the American Cancer
Society’s emphasis on staying healthy and active as a means to preventing cancer.
In celebrating the lives of those who have been touched
by cancer, there will be a special champagne cake
created by Simply Delicious.
The cake will be adorned by candles purchased at the event, which can be inscribed in
honor or memory of a special person in your life. At a designated hour all candles will be
lit by our volunteers with a special moment of silence. Afterwards, candles will be blown
out and this delicious cake will be served to the patrons of the Ball.
