Bishop of Lafayette
ANNOUNCEMENT FROM BISHOP JARRELL
Chanh Van Nguyen, a priest of the Diocese of Bac Ninh,
North Vietnam, until recently serving in the Diocese of
Lafayette, has published a book about salvation, and
has been attempting to promote the book in Catholic
parishes and other local venues in our Diocese. A number of its elements are considered incompatible with
Catholic doctrine and seriously deviate from the integrity
of the truth of the Catholic faith. Given the nature of
these Doctrinal errors, the book should not be promoted
under Catholic auspices. Chahn Van Nguyen is currently on personal leave from the priestly ministry; therefore,
he should not be asked to address any Catholic group.
A SPECIAL MASS FOR SURVIVIORS OF VIOLENCE
Please join us to help reach out to those individuals and

Chapel, 1408 Carmel Drive, Lafayette, Louisiana. Bishop Michael Jarrell will be the celebrant.
All are invited to the Mass and the reception that follows.
