Message from your State Rep
Hello to all our Missouri members and cake decorator friends!
This will be my last newsletter as your representative. In fact, Cora Smith has already been sworn in as your
new representative. Glenda Stockwell moves up to First Alternate and Jeannie Gearin is your Second Alternate.
Annette Molitor continues as your Treasurer and I will be your new Secretary. The “Missouri Chapter
Information to Know” at the bottom of the page has been updated with everyone’s contact information.
I would like to thank each and every one of you for all the support and help I’ve received throughout the last two
years as your representative. ICES is a volunteer organization both at the Chapter and the International levels.
As we all volunteer in different capacities, we see our chapter and ICES thrive. Please offer your new
leadership continued support.
Not only was the 2010 Convention and Show in San Diego, CA in a great location, it gave those of us who
attended the chance to see demonstrations, take hands-on-classes, see displays, shop vendors, and most
importantly, reunite with our ICES “family.” The 2011 convention planning is well underway and you can keep
up to date with all the information at www.ices11.org. You can also find them at “ICES 11” on Facebook.
Our Day of Sharing is in a few short weeks in Columbia, September 26, 2010. Several classes are also
planned. Information is available on our website, www.MoICES.org, and is included below. Be sure to get your
registrations in by September 15th to take advantage of Early Bird pricing.
