JULY NEWSLETTER
CLUB NEWS:
The Carolina Cardinals held their June campout at Zooland Family Campground in Asheboro hosted by the
Humphreys. Camping were the Harkeys, Humphreys, Lamberts and Tuckers. Ann Barringer & Cathy Harkey
visited on Saturday. The Stirewalts & Waltons were traveling to the National Campvention in Gillette
Wyoming.
We had Friday evening dinner at the K&W in Asheboro. Several storms moved through the area and caused
flooding around the campsites.
Nancy and Joel provided hospitality Friday night and once again served more than enough for everyone.
The campground staff furnished Saturday morning breakfast for everyone for Father's Day and set up games
for children and adults as the photos show. There was a disc jockey playing music Saturday night for
everyone's enjoyment and for dancing.
Since only 4 families were club camping, there wasn't a business meeting Saturday night.
REPORT FROM SICK BAY AND PRAYER LIST:
Libby Hoke had having surgery May 7th and is doing well.
Larry Rimer had surgery on June 9th and is healing slowly.

When: Come at 5PM for fellowship. The meal will be served at 6PM.

Teacher: "Kids,what does the chicken give you?"
Student: "Meat!"
Teacher: "Very good! Now what does the pig give you?"
Student: "Bacon!"
Teacher: "Great! And what does the fat cow give you?"
Student: "Homework!"
A child asked his father, "How were people born?" So his father said, "Adam and Eve made babies, then their babies
became adults and made babies, and so on." The child then went to his mother, asked her the same question and she
told him, "We were monkeys then we evolved to become like we are now." The child ran back to his father and said,
"You lied to me!" His father replied, "No, your mom was talking about her side of the family."
