Thank you for your continued support. Each day brings new faces to our store as well as new fabrics. What a great
combination.! And speaking of new faces, we want to welcome Torey to our team. (Justen likes to help her with the
thread as you can see by the picture on the right.)

If you have not had the chance to wander through our yarn and thread department, come and take a look! We have
added new wool yarns both regular weight and bulky. The bulky yarn makes wonderful felted projects. And due to
high demand, we will now carry DMC embroidery thread. The full line will be arriving shortly.
As this is the beginning of quilt show season, we would like to encourage you to attend as many as possible. It not
only is a great way to support the talented artists of our region, is a wonderul way to get inspired yourself!

For those of you who enjoy a little guided inspiration, there is still plenty of room in Thimbleberries Club. They meet
the first Saturday and following Wednesday of each Month.
If you have always wanted to try out the long arm machine, look for the class listing on page two. Come in on one of
the days scheduled and take it for a guided test drive! This is a great way to finish up your quilt tops.
And, just a reminder, machine service is available for all Elna or Babylock models. Be sure to include your foot pedal,
electric cord and foot to do a zig-zag stitch.
Finally, in January, we unfortunately became victims of a shoplifting. They managed to take our laptop that we use for
our embroidery program. Thankfully we were able to record their images on our security system. When you come in
the store, we have their pictures posted. If you can help us identify them, there is a reward offered.

This is a wonderful exercise in the placement
of fabrics. Using only two fabrics you can create
two completely different looks.
Samples are available at Glacier Quilts.
Can be turned into a reversible table runner.
This is a quilt as you go project. When you are
done piecing the table runner, you are all ready
for the binding, the quilting is ALL DONE! This is a great
project for new quilters. You will actually finish your project.
These table runners make excellent gifts. Top of the table
runner uses 4 coordinating fat quarters, plus one more for the
binding. Come join Bonita and see what you can create!

Remember that saying from when you were young? Now you
can organize your sewing supplies to go or to hang over a chair
arm. There are pockets and a large pincushion as well as ribbons
to hold your thread or scissors. It folds up and closes with Velcro
to keep your supplies contained and is easy to carry with you.
Change the pockets to make an “over the chair caddy” for
remotes, books or whatever you like to keep at hand.

your fusible fabric, hints for cutting and
placement, how to mark your pattern and
much more. This is a great introduction if you are
planning to make the Springtime Symphony Sampler quilt.

15% supply discount, and to guarantee your spot in the class.

The day of your class your purchases will be discounted 15%,
excluding sewing machines and their accessories. Be sure to keep in mind any items you may need to finish your quilt. This is the last day the discount will be given for the class project.

We would appreciate cancellations five days in advance to receive a refund or store credit. If you are a no show for the class, your fee is forfeited.

If class registration is below our minimum we will make every

3RD SATURDAY SAMPLER
Join our 3rd Saturday Sampler Demonstration
Come and learn how to make various sized blocks.
Here is how it works:
At 9:00 am on the 3rd Saturday of each month we will introduce
that month’s block and give a short demonstration
of a technique or tool that can be used to make that block.
This group of blocks will be made from strips. It will be
demonstrated how to convert your block patterns so you can use
strips or portions of your strip.
At the first 3rd Saturday Sampler demonstration you attend, you
buy a kit for $5.00. It has the pattern and the fabric for the block.
Go home and make the block. If you don’t like the
fabric in the kit your are welcome to substitute or replace
completely with your own. Bring it to the following month’s
3rd Saturday and you get your next kit free!
For example: January is your 1st month. You bring January’s
finished block to the 3rd Saturday in February and get
February’s kit free. Bring February’s block in March and get
March’s block free, etc.
There are a few conditions:
To get your free kit YOU have to come on the
3rd Saturday at 9:00am. NO EXCEPTIONS.
If you can’t come one Saturday, you can buy that
month’s kit for $5.00 while supplies last or buy just the pattern for $1.50 and use your stash. Bring it to the next month’s class and that month’s kit is free.

Each Month we give away door prizes:
YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN.
We would like to encourage you to work on a non-traditional
setting for your sampler quilt. Instead of nice tidy rows,
scatter your various sized blocks and fill in the space
in-between with smaller “filler” blocks. They can be
2”, 4” or 6” blocks or whatever sizes you choose.
They can be nine patches, flying geese, miniature blocks,
foundation-pieced blocks, appliqués or anything else that
captures your imagination!
Every month if you bring in new filler blocks you receive an
extra drawing ticket for each block towards that month’s door
prize.
Our Hugs group is still doing community outreach quilts.
If you bring a 12” block to donate you get an extra drawing
ticket towards that month’s door prize. Red, White and Blue
is still a favorite or each month we will suggest a color group
for the next block.
