WV4 4XN This pool at 5.5 acres is situated to the left of the car park and consists of 20 pegs and was formally known as the runs water. Many of the original stock of commons can be found here along with a healthy stock of new fish and fish transferred from the old speci pool. There are estimated to be close on 1400 fish with approx 40 twenties of which a handfull are nearing the 30lb mark. Thera are also approx 30 catfish which have been removed from the old speci pool which run to 47lb. This tree lined pool has average depths of 5 feet and has an abundance of features incuding a small island, marginal reeds, lilly pads and pot beds, which is why our long term aims are to turn this water into the speci pool with lower stocking levels to provide the remaining stock with the chance to gain weight. Of the 20 pegs there are five pegs which could accommodate two people each. Meadow Pool Furnace Grange Road, Trescott. Wolverhampton.
