Auction Rules
1. In order to bid, you must be registered. Your bidding number is on
the catalog back cover.
2. The decision of the auctioneer is final. “You snooze, You lose”.
3. Auction items must be paid for by the close of the event.
4. Items have a minimum bid requirement.
5. Every effort has been made to accurately describe the items. All
items are sold in “as is” condition, with noted restrictions, and
without warranty or representation of any kind as to the correctness
of the description, authenticity, or condition.
6. All sales are final. There are no exchanges or refunds. All items have
been donated to the Auction Committee and are sold by the Auction
Committee. Purchasers may not ask for refunds or exchanges from
any donor.
7. All services are donated at a time mutually agreeable to the donor
(or donors) and winner. Please contact your prize donor within 30
days to set up a mutually convenient date, unless otherwise specified.
Please check your expiration date as noted. All items expire March 7,
2016, unless specifically noted.
8. Per federal law, the portion of your auction bid that exceeds the fair
market value of that item, as listed in the catalog, is the only taxdeductible part of your contribution. You may obtain a receipt upon
request.
9. Payments will be charged to registered credit card at end of auction.

teacher, Sean Grady and AMS English teacher, Jaime Marcus will take you on an interpretive ride
on one of America’s narrowest State Parks. Participants will take a bike tour of the The Old Croton
Aqueduct (OCA) and learn about the rich history of New York State and Westchester County.
The OCA - with its breathtaking, panoramic views of the Hudson River, has many historical and
literary points of interest. Sites include: The Octagon House, Nevis, Villa Lewaro, Lyndhurst,
Washington Irving’s Sunnyside, The Keeper House, Draper Park, Ever Rest, The Palisades, and
Untermeyer Park. Open to two families; maximum ten participants. All students/children must be
accompanied by at least one parent/guardian. Participants must have a working bicycle and helmet.
Tour will take place on a Saturday of your choice in either the month of May or September, 2015.
Tour meets at Mercy College at 10:30 AM. Tour concludes approximately at 2 PM.
