Location: Duri Field, South Sumatra Basin, Indonesia.
Duri oil field is approximately 18km long and 18km wide. It
is located in the Riau Province, in the South Sumatra
Basin on the eastern coast of Sumatra, Indonesia. Duri
Field was discovered in 1941. The onshore oil field was
brought on stream in 1954. The daily production from the
Duri field currently averages to approximately 185,000
barrels accounting for nearly half of Chevron Pacific
Indonesia's total production.
PT. Chevron Pacific Indonesia requested INTECH for
technical support and services for Industrial control
system Engineering, installation, commissioning and
maintenance support for new and already running
industrial control system at different platform’s.
Build interface with Yokogawa & Honeywell OPC
Servers
Installation of PI Server for remote data historians
for CGS
Work with Yokogawa and Honeywell on OPC Server
bitmap, interface and tag quality
Provide project documentation and training to local
operations and engineering team
Work with Base Business and Engineering Team to
verify data integration and system design
Provide on-site Assistance and provide Remote
Support Services (RSS).
The supply of hardware included:
INTECH’s project scope included collection of data from
all the different sub-stations, five gathering stations, steam
injection stations and heavy oil stations to a central PI
server.
Human Machine Interface (HMI) - WonderWare
INTECH’s Scope of Work included:
OPC Servers for Modicon, GE & Siemens
Installation of PI Historian at remote sites and
integration of data at the central data repository,
Programming, Function Test and Commissioning for
modification of Honeywell logic and HMI project
CGS-10 Kill Water Pump to CIF
Installation of MAX SCADA at wellhead RTU and
Data Acquisition from rod pumps using GPRS
Maintenance of OSIsoft.
The overall Scope of Supply included:
Installation of PI Connectors CGS1, 3, 4, 5 & 10 for
local data historians
