Message
As Premier of this year’s host province, I am pleased to
welcome you to the 2002 Atlantic Craft Trade Show. This year
marks a very special occasion – the show’s 25th anniversary.
This significant milestone was reached through hard work and
the strong partnership that exists between all four Atlantic
Provinces. Congratulations to all involved.
The Atlantic Craft Trade Show has been an important event in
the development of the craft and giftware industry in this region
for the past quarter century. Crafts and giftware continue to grow in both quality and
sales. Our products remain popular with tourists and residents alike and the continued
development of our domestic market will open the doors for exporting across Canada
and the rest of North America.
Crafts and giftware are important art forms that represent the unique quality of life and
culture of Atlantic Canada. I extend my sincerest congratulations to both the exhibitors
and retailers involved in this show. Thank you for your continued dedication to the
