A SPONSORSHIP THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE
The Rematch After Rio will benefit the Volusia Flagler Family YMCA and the Stewart-MarchmanAct-Foundation, as both share a passion for impacting positive change in people in our
communities. Whether it be offering financial assistance to those in need, or working with
community leaders to bring more resources for all in both the Volusia Flagler Family YMCA and
Stewart-Marchman-Act Foundation communities, together we can build a better us.
VOLUSIA FLAGLER FAMILY YMCA
Anchored throughout our community for 97 years, the Volusia Flagler Family YMCA is one of
the area’s leading non-profit organizations strengthening our community through youth
development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Volusia Flagler Family YMCA helps
thousands of men, women, and children every year - regardless of age, income, or
background - to nurture the potential of children and teens, improve health and well-being
and to provide opportunities to give back and support our neighbors.
STEWART-MARCHMAN-ACT FOUNDATION
Stewart-Marchman-Act Behavioral Healthcare (SMA) is a leader in behavioral healthcare and
has over 50 years of experience providing exceptional and comprehensive services to
individuals living with addiction, mental illness or both. The Stewart-Marchman-Act Foundation
was founded in 1997 by James Foster at the request of Reverend Hal Marchman and Dr. Ernest
Cantley. The Foundation was initially established to support Stewart-Marchman Center and
addiction services in Flagler and Volusia Counties. In 2008, Stewart-Marchman Center merged
with ACT Corporation and became Stewart-Marchman-Act Behavioral Healthcare. With that
merger, the Foundation expanded its support to include mental health services. As SMABH
grew, so did the Foundation and today it supports addiction and mental health services in
Flagler, Putnam, St. Johns, and Volusia Counties.

MATTERS:
ABOUT THE YMCA ANNUAL CAMPAIGN
Proceeds from the Volusia Flagler Family YMCA events go directly toward our Annual Campaign,
which provides critical financial assistance to individuals and families who otherwise would be unable
to afford to participate in programs such as child care, evidence based programs, stroke wellness,
summer camp, swimming lessons, teen leadership programs and membership.
YMCA MISSION
To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
YMCA SERVICE

are fortunate to be a part of an International organization with one of the strongest brand identities in
the world. The YMCA has been instrumental in developing, influencing, and providing human service
programs since 1844. The support and guidance of our volunteers and donors, as well as the heartfelt
effort and commitment of our staff members, is what makes the difference at the YMCA.

ABOUT THE SMA FOUNDATION’S CURRENT CAMPAIGN
The SMA Foundation’s current project is the Huger Adolescent Campus Project, a capital campaign
to provide major renovations of the facility located on Tiger Bay Road in Daytona Beach. These
renovations will create a full service adolescent campus that would bring BEACH House and RAP
(Residential Adolescent Program) onto one site, along with the educational services those youth
need, which are provided in partnership with the Volusia County Schools. The campus will reimagine what it means to deliver an exceptional experience for a child going through the most
difficult time of his or her life. For more information about the campaign, please visit http://
www.smafoundation.com/huger-adolescent-project/ or contact the SMA Foundation at (386)
